Totally agreeing with you on this one. Many movies spoil the suspense or climax just by revealing too much.

To make things worse they sometimes edit the movie in such a way that it's straight up false promises or false advertisement. I am not sure it it's done deliberately or just a misunderstanding but there are movies where trailer or teaser features a Character so much that it makes you think that the movie is about that particular character but in reality the trailer ends up being the entire screentime of that person.
