Como están amigos de CineTV, hoy presento una corta publicación que espero sea del agrado de todos, refiriéndome a ciertas anécdotas del mundo cinematográfico, algunas conocidas y otras no tanto, comencemos:

Russell refused to accept the role as he demanded the same amount that had been offered to Snipes before him, after negotiating he managed to collect the sum of 7 million dollars. The three stars mentioned were clients of CAA (Creative Artist Agency), the most powerful agency of representatives in Hollywood, so Russell already knew of the offers made to the other actors.

Su avión chocó antes de despegar, el tren en donde viajaba colisionó con otro tren, y llegó a California durante el terremoto de 1921, coincidiendo con el incendio de la MGM.
Pese a todo, el público lo adoró, siendo habitual en los estrenos de la compañía, a los que acudía en su propio vehículo, mientras sus cuidadores repartían fotos suyas con la dedicatoria: “Rugientemente Tuyo, Leo”. Este primer león murió en 1938 y fue enterrado en Long Hill, a 45 kilómetros de Nueva York.
En 1994, los habitantes del lugar iniciaron una campaña para preservar sus restos ya que una empresa de camiones pretendía construir un estacionamiento sobre su sepultura. Los vecinos consiguieron su propósito.
