Ade is known for his laziness and his inconsistency in his job. so many times, he has lost his job because of his laziness which has lead to his family warning him to leave his group of friends.
it was Ade's first day at work. That morning, he woke up at exactly five o'clock. he had slept late the night before as he was celebrating with his friends.
It was a relief to Ade's parents that he has finally been able to secure a good job. They advised and prayed to hope that this particular job he has gotten will last better than the other because, over the years, he has been depending on his parents.
His parent's plea to avoid those groups of friends of him who never help him in growing proved abortive and fell on deaf ears.
He woke up pretty late and was in a hurry to get to work. eventually, he was able to arrive at the office 1 hour past the work time and to his surprise to see the secretary already in her seat typing. She looked up from her typing with surprise. thus, she wondered what could have kept him so late on the first day of his assumption of duties.
She was about to ask Ade why he was late when the door to the managing director's office opened and the Director stepped into the secretary's office.
The director did not way for Ade to greet him when he asked Ade to leave and never come back that the company does not harbor a lazy person.
Ade tried to exp[lain but he felt speechless and did nothing but left the office premises. When he got back home, his parents were surprised to see him back and when they asked him, he blamed the Managing Director for not hearing him out.
Ade could not get a suitable job because of his laziness and his late coming to every appointment given to him. It became a problem for companies to employ him. He had no option than to be selling pure water on the street because his friends deserted him and he knew he was becoming a burden to his family. Ade learned life the hard way.
