Tiago was the only white student at Morehouse College. He had a rich learning experience in learning the good culture as well as the great attitude from the other students.
He was certainly impressed by the great brotherhood and how people greeted one another warmly even on the street.

Morehouse College was a place mainly to educate the black students and Tiago was really out of place in any logical mind.
There is certainly a history of tension among white and black students.
As many black people may have felt that they were belittled or abused by the white people in the past so many would not really want to see white people in the space of the black community.
All the students were really reluctant to accept Tiago since he was a white person in the black space.
Mutual respect and learning to accept people who are different can really make the world a better place.
Regardless of our skin colour or race, we can embrace and establish good friendship when we learn to accept people who may be different from us in culture or outer appearance.
