Kids Dance session 2 – The Gishu Cultural dance

What an amazing Gishu cultural dance performance locally known as ‘aKadodi’. We took time equipping these kids with this style of dancing. In Uganda there are many cultures and each culture has its own unique cultural dance. We dwelt on the Bagishu culture; this culture is found in the eastern Uganda. The ‘Gishu’ people have a common cultural practice called ‘imbalu.’ Where they believe in the circumcision of every male person.
