Your “middle way” reminds me very much of me when I was young, Unfortunately, @amaterasusolar, it is the idealistic ‘solution’, impossible in the system created by psychopaths. The way of ‘solution’ is not up to us to chose. We will have to cope with a solution chosen by psychopaths. And they are psychopaths because their ultimate solution is always force.
So, it doesn’t depend on us. History is full of graveyards of the people who refused to resist force with force.
I disagree. It is not "idealistic," just vastly better than what We have now, and if enough of Us share awareness of the solution, withdrew Our consent, consented to the blueprint I offer, They would have no power, and We would win. The only winning move is not to play the game.
