RE: Cold weather equipment is hitting the Ukraine front lines!

in Deep Diveslast year

And Grand totals it is sounding like have been tabulated at nearly 21 billion US dollars of Russian equipment losses which I absolutely find completely believable.

No words on the Ukrainian casualties or destruction, lololol! You went from "Russia is falling" to "Russia is running out of missiles" to "Small Gains in Bakhmut" to "THERMAL UNDERWEAR FOR UKRAINE".

The idiotic insanity that an army who closed almost all northern posts and bases in favor of warm weather ones in the southern part of the country has better or more capable winter gear than an army which trains for months in the snow and which has bases and training in places where 9 months of the year long cold weather persists, what a ridiculous notion that goretex (made for wet, not cold) is going to do anything, you do realize that without thermals goretex is worse than regular cammies, yeah it may block the wind but it absolutely transfers the cold strait through, and since the military doesn't do cold weather training outside special forces its unlikely there's a sizable stock of actual cold weather gear, like Thermal Socks (about 20$ a pair) and thermal underwear, to spare, the hilarious mockery, the Ukrainians would benefit endlessly more from that instead of goretex which is only good for wet autumn and the freeze has begun.

BTW, what happened with the super duper operational tempo, a couple months ago you retardedAF claimed they were going for an operational pause after they reached the Oskil river, which was actually a redeployment on the southern part of the Oskil/Lyman front, then a couple weeks ago it was: they're gonna cross the Dnieper and take Crimea, meanwhile, nothing like that happened, and all the while in the north no more gains while Russians haven't even gathered all their mobilized troops, and in the centre with Donetsk Russians advanced (DNR troops) and the Wagner keep the meatgrinder churning the Ukrainians to fertilizer, massive losses for the Russians yet nothing, absolutely nothing to show for it, on the flipside the documented destruction of AFU around the region is extensive, exactly like the Kherson front previously.

Soon enough, Russia will declare its unconditional surrender, abandon Donbass and Crimea, and will decommision all its nukes and start privatizing its natural resources, energy and manufacturing to multinational western stooges.

Soon.
