It's not easy talking about mental health and seeking help. Grateful that you shared this. It is okay to ask for help especially at this time. In my first encounter with a therapist, she made sure I was in a safe space to talk. Her question was a simple, "Tell me something about yourself" and I didn't expect that simple question would end up with a half-empty box of tissues.

I'm grateful for that. It happened nine years ago so all is well :) The sessions helped create a major change in my life and how I viewed things. Seeking help from a professional who is unbiased will be able to help offer a different perspective and get over traumas. Cheers to being kind to ourselves. Hope to see you again soon 😊
