Today I took my son to his doctor's appointment. We immediately encountered the three kittens that are always lying around at the front door of the medical center. There was a new cat, black and white. This time, the yellow cats, Carey, were not attracted to my son, but they still expressed their affection from the comfort of their positions on the ground.

On the way back, I began looking at the trees because I enjoy appreciating their foliage. I decided to take pictures, and as our taxi moved forward, I positioned my phone so that I could take pictures of the trees I liked.

I am happy to see that urban artists engage in this type of creativity, painting a tree trunk on a wall, and above the trunk on the wall, you can see the lushness of a tree.

These trees, with their branches spread out, provide shade for the road, remind me of the trees in my beautiful plains. Seeing the cows, some grazing and others ruminating, under the branches of a tree that provides them with much-needed shade from the harsh midday sun.

Here in the city, there is no livestock, but just like cows, we humans also seek the shade of trees when we walk through the winding streets of our city. Protecting ourselves from the sun and sometimes from the rain.

I share with you these images of the many beautiful trees we can find along the way. Even so, as majestic as they can be, sometimes we don't notice they are there, unless we need them.

Today I wanted to share the photos I took on my way home, sitting inside a taxi.
