Interesting about your trip: surely you didn't get bored!XD
A few years ago I was in the Emilian Apennines, just a few miles from the Tuscan border.
The little village is called Baragazza, in the 8 hours or so that I was there, I saw: Sun, fog (and cold), rain and cloudy.
The only thing missing was snow.
Then acquaintances explained to me that being practically on the hilltop, because of the currents the weather changes abruptly.
