The first thing that comes to mind when this question is asked is the advice my mom gave me when I was a boy. She always said, learn at least one skill because of the situation in the country, there is no one who can give it, offers a job is difficult. but I don't take it that seriously because my mind and focus is on football.
When asked, it reminded me, “If it's not me, who will listen to my mom's advice?
Your parents always see the future before you. Yes, this question really sounds like a quote.
My mom advised me to learn a skill when I was a kid. She always said you have to work at a young age not to work with white hair. I never take it seriously.

Before I finished my NYSc, I realized that their lives would still be after education, a life that everyone would expect from you because you had already graduated, the hardest time you never got a job.

During this period of my service, I always have a number of questions: What is the next step after NYSc, I want to wait until I'm employed, Who will fund me, am I still dependent on my parents?.

When it started to come to mind, I think the best way was to follow a step my mom took for me a few years ago, just so it wouldn't be an obligation. I followed her advice, which I assume was followed years ago.
Learning to make a shoe is now mandatory, I am learning for the year I was serving the nation as youth corps.

So take step from this question with my own experience.

Do what you need at the right time. There may not be time on your side tomorrow. Don't be a man who says, 'If I don't do it today, I will do it tomorrow while the sun is still shining.
