Yesterday i went to visit again several abandoned properties in my close neighborhood. i intend to purchase as many as possible, for the Rising in Love Community Village (as i have named it).

i (with help from a Bulgarian friend) are now in touch with two of the owners. We are meeting with one today, and the other says she will have paperwork ready on 8th December. Not spoken about prices yet. We're calling this place, for now, the Barn House;
The top half of the house will be demolished, and we build new using timber frame and XPS insulation panels for walls.
Then there's the barn:
It is very big and in quite good condition. Lots of possibilities.
The back and side of the property are forested. No neighbour for at least 500 metres.
The property is on a south facing slope with great view of Bulgarian, Macedonian and Serbian mountains, at the end of a track which goes past my house.
Excellent food growing land facing the sun.

Ps. The Rising in Love Community Village will be formed as a DAO (or similar) which will own the land parcels. Accomodation units, both fixed houses and transportable cottages, will likely be tokenized as PHATs ( Physical Asset Tokens), so can be purchased by incoming residents or non-resident supporting investors. The community (of max. 150 residents + unlimited supporters) will be governed using a Matriix-8 Community Governance Sub-Platform to enable concentrated consensus.

I love visiting abandoned places, you never know what you can find inside, obviously you must never destroy anything, you must leave everything as it is to ensure the same experience for those who come after me
Yet there is another way of looking at it. For example most of these properties have been empty for 20 years or more. Making use of the good things we find, which may well rot if abandoned much longer, could be considered to be improving life, by not buying new stuff. i have an old sofa and chair from one property (which i might buy anyway) which is now used in my house. If i track down the owner and he/she doesn't want to sell the property, i will tell them i am taking care of and making use of the chair and sofa, and give it back or buy it if they want.

My friend Dave @mountainhigh has viewed the Barn House with me. He thinks it's a very good property. He said the barn is his dream house and that he has never seen such a good construction (he's a builder), and he says i should live in it!
