I love visiting abandoned places, you never know what you can find inside, obviously you must never destroy anything, you must leave everything as it is to ensure the same experience for those who come after me

Yet there is another way of looking at it. For example most of these properties have been empty for 20 years or more. Making use of the good things we find, which may well rot if abandoned much longer, could be considered to be improving life, by not buying new stuff. i have an old sofa and chair from one property (which i might buy anyway) which is now used in my house. If i track down the owner and he/she doesn't want to sell the property, i will tell them i am taking care of and making use of the chair and sofa, and give it back or buy it if they want.
