Meditation to me is just like reflection. Just as you said.
There are times I just want to focus on me, on my inner man. This sometimes has me taking a stroll with music while I ponder on things I've done, things I'm doing and things I want to do or I should do. This helps me exercise my mental very much and points forgotten things to me.
Also, Meditation as a Spiritual exercise is the best form of relaxation. Getting intouch with your Maker does wonderful things to the mind, soul and spirit.
However, I do face hurdles of distractions daily and they are not small in anyway. I'm a young lady with needs, if you know what I mean. Which is why I put it as my priority to meditate atleast for one hour daily. This stops me from making regrettable decisions.
