There is no doubt that the world has changed forever with this pandemic, from my point of view nothing will ever be the same again. Even if vaccines prosper in all countries, fear will always be latent and the face mask is here to stay.
On a work level it didn't affect me much as my main job continued to operate throughout the pandemic and I am currently keeping the same schedule as always. I don't have much change on that side.
Although my bosses do seem to be affected by the pandemic, too much I would say. To the point where it is becoming complicated to keep working, with messages and calls all the time to remind you of the things they talked about 5 minutes ago.
We also have the typical jobs outside of your scope of work that look like tasks that are invented as if to justify that you have a job and that you should smile doing it just to continue in your position.
One of the most important things in life is to know how to be a boss, to put yourself in your employees' shoes and give them their personal space. A vote of confidence and not to always be on top of your employees, stressing over and over again what they know they should do.
As an employee it is easy to spot a boss who earned everything with hard and honest work, because they know how to value their employees, they treat with respect and humility those workers who make up the company and without them they would not even have a company.
They are bosses who do not need to impose silly tasks to measure egos and make it clear that they are in charge. Today this type of superior is increasingly scarce and very difficult to find in the situation we have in Venezuela.
Nowadays, the type of people who get to the top is because of internal connections or worse, to make easy money with dubious businesses and therefore do not value the work of their employees, they did not have to sweat hard for their position or money.
I am not saying that it is necessary to start from the bottom, but it is necessary to have work and effort behind to know how to value the work of others. Arriving from nothing to a position with a lot of power generally always ends badly, there are few who know how to value the people around them.
As human beings we should know how to value the work of others and be able to treat with respect, humanity and decency to any person regardless of the studies or positions you hold. The fact that a person is from a poor background does not make him/her a worse person than you.
And that is what we need most as human beings, the humility to accept the value of all the people around us regardless of ethnicity, education or position they hold. We are all part of this world and we all contribute in a peculiar way that does not deserve to be underestimated.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my little piece of writing, which was a kind of catharsis to drain the day to day injustices that we live in my work and somehow I needed to tell in order to free myself.

Es indudable que el mundo cambió para siempre con esta pandemia, desde mi punto de vista ya nada volverá a ser igual. Aunque las vacunas prosperen en todos los países el temor siempre estará latente y el tapa boca llegó para quedarse.
A nivel de trabajo no me afectó mucho ya que mi trabajo principal continuó operativo durante toda la pandemia y actualmente mantengo el mismo horario de siempre. No tengo mucho cambio por ese lado.
Aunque mis jefes si parece que la pandemia los está afectando mucho, demasiado diría yo. Al punto donde se está volviendo complicado seguir trabajando, con mensajes y llamadas a cada rato para recordarte a cada rato las cosas que hablaron hace 5 minutos.
También tenemos los típicos oficios fuera de tu ámbito laboral que se ve que son tareas que se inventan como para justificar que tienes trabajo y qué debes sonreír haciéndolo solo para continuar en tu puesto.
Una de las cosas más importante de la vida es saber ser jefe, ponerte en el puesto de los empleados y darle su espacio personal. Un voto de confianza y no estar siempre encima de tus trabajadores recalcando una y otra vez lo que de sobra saben que deben hacer.
Como empleado es fácil detectar un jefe que se ganó todo con trabajo duro y honesto, ya que saben valorar sus empleados, tratan con respeto y humildad a esos trabajadores que forman la empresa y que sin ellos no tendrían ni empresa.
Son jefes que no necesitan imponer tareas tontas para medir egos y dar entender que tienen el mando. Hoy en día ese tipo de superiores es cada vez más escaso y muy difícil de encontrar en la situación país que tenemos en Venezuela.
En la actualidad el tipo de personas que llega al mando es por conexiones internas o peor aún, por hacer dinero de forma fácil con negocios dudosos y por ello no valoran el trabajo de sus empleados, no tuvieron que sudar con esfuerzo su puesto o dinero.
No digo que sea necesario empezar desde abajo del todo, pero si se debe tener un trabajo y esfuerzo detrás para saber valorar el trabajo de los demás. Llegar de la nada a un cargo con mucho poder por lo general siempre acaba mal, son pocos los que saben valorar a las personas alrededor.
Como seres humanos debemos saber valorar el trabajo del prójimo y ser capaces de tratar con respeto, humanidad y decencia a cualquier persona sin importar los estudios o cargos que tú poseas. Que una persona sea de origen pobre no la hace peor persona que tú.
Y eso es lo que más nos hace falta como seres humanos, la humildad para aceptar el valor de todas las personas que nos rodean sin importar raza, estudios o cargo que posean. Todos somos parte de este mundo y aportamos de una forma peculiar que no merece ser menospreciada.
Muchísimas gracias por tomarte el tiempo de leer mi pequeño escrito, que fue una especie de catarsis para drenar las injusticias del día a día que vivimos en mi trabajo y de alguna forma necesitaba contar para poder liberarme.

Muchos jefes pocos líderes, ciertamente hay muchos se les sube el ego cuando tienen personal a su cargo. Espero que tu situación mejore pronto porque de verdad es bastante incomodo trabajar así. Saludos
