I consider that the decisions we make are roads that we must travel, leaving us a learning experience as part of that journey, whether it is an exciting, fun or painful journey, we will always have that learning from the trip. This is something I already talked about in older posts.
The problem with human beings is that we always feel doubts about the choices we make, we are never one hundred percent happy with the roads we choose and it is very common to think what would have happened if I had made a different decision that would have changed the current route. Because of all this, a big question arose in my mind.
How do I know that the road I took is the right one?
Although the question may seem simple, it is very complex to answer, because no matter the road you take, you will have a final result and it is up to you to give meaning to that result. You are the one who interprets those experiences obtained and will give them the sense of right or wrong.
I am one of those people who think that what is destined for you sooner or later ends up happening, even if you choose the worst roads that destiny will come and taking the wrong roads will only make you waste time traveling because of your bad choices, but that journey is experience, so it is not a bad thing in itself.
I know that many people will not like this vision, since knowing that everything is predestined is a way of thinking that takes away our control. It is like knowing that everything is written and we have nothing to do but to walk with resignation along that writing, but I see it in a more positive way.
Just because something is destined doesn't mean it has to be bad, I see destined things as that gain we get for the work you put in pursuing the goals you want to conquer. When you work towards a goal realistically you always end up rewarded in the long run.
The detail is that in order to obtain those rewards you must make decisions, what I call choosing the road you are going to travel and that is where my thought is that everything is destined, being able to travel a more direct road towards your goal or a road that will be much longer, but you will still end up seeing the goal.
Needless to say, the one who chooses the long road will have other experiences because of the almost infinite road he took and perhaps he could also be more prepared to receive the final result, but this does not demerit the one who took the short road and reached the goal earlier. They were simply different processes that left unique marks in their protagonists.
Therefore, at the end of the day, I believe that the question could be answered as there is no wrong road, you simply have to live the experiences that you had to live since they are the result of the decisions you made. Enjoy the trip and try to make the most of it to absorb experiences that could help you to take shorter routes in the following decisions.

Yo considero que las decisiones que tomamos son caminos que debemos recorrer, dejándonos un aprendizaje como parte de la experiencia de ese recorrido, sea un recorrido emocionante, divertido o doloroso, siempre tendremos ese aprendizaje del viaje. Esto es algo que ya hablé en temas antiguos.
El problema de los seres humanos es que siempre sentimos dudas de las elecciones que hacemos, nunca estamos cien por ciento felices con los caminos que elegimos y es muy común pensar que hubiera pasado si hubiera tomado una decisión diferente que cambiara el camino actual. Por todo esto me surgió una gran pregunta.
¿Cómo saber que el camino que tomé es el correcto?
Aunque la pregunta pueda parecer simple es bien compleja de responder, ya que sin importar el camino que tomes, tendrás un resultado final al recorrerlo y en ti está el darle sentido a ese resultado. Tu eres el que interpreta esas experiencias obtenidas y les dará el sentido de correcto o incorrecto.
Soy de las personas que piensa que lo que está destinado para uno tarde o temprano termina pasando, aunque escojas los peores caminos ese destino llegará y tomar las vías incorrectas solo hará que pierdas el tiempo viajando por tus malas elecciones, pero ese recorrido es experiencia, con lo cual tampoco es algo malo en sí.
Se que a muchas personas esta visión no les gustara, ya que saber que todo está predestinado es una forma de pensar que nos quita el control. Es como saber que todo está escrito y no tenemos nada que hacer más que recorrer con resignación esa escritura, pero yo lo veo de una forma más positiva.
Que algo sea destinado no significa que tiene que ser malo, yo veo las cosas destinadas como esa ganancia que obtenemos por el trabajo que realizas al perseguir las metas que deseas conquistar. Cuando se trabaja por una meta de forma realista a la larga siempre se termina cosechando frutos.
El detalle está en que para cosechar esos frutos debes tomar decisiones, lo que yo llamo escoger el camino que vas recorrer y ahí es donde está mi pensamiento de que todo está destinado, pudiendo recorrer un camino más directo hacia tu meta o un camino que será muchísimo más largo, pero igual terminaras viendo la meta.
De más está decir, que el que escoge el camino largo tendrá otras experiencias por ese camino casi infinito que hizo y que quizá también pudiera estar más preparado para recibir ese resultado final, pero esto no demerita el que hizo el camino corto y llegó a la meta antes. Simplemente fueron procesos diferentes que dejaron huellas únicas en sus protagonistas.
Por ello al final de todo, considero que la pregunta se pudiera responder como que no hay camino errado, simplemente debes vivir las experiencias que te tocaron vivir ya que son el resultado de las decisiones que tomaste. Disfruta del viaje y trata de sacar el mayor provecho posible para absorber experiencias, que te pudieran servir para tomar caminos más cortos en las siguientes decisiones.

Este es un tema bastante complejo, pero creo que es como dices las decisiones solo hacen el camino más largo o más corto. A veces es bastante difícil pero debemos seguir avanzando para conseguir nuestros objetivos. Me gusta que hagas este tipo de publicaciones. Saludos
