NATURE // demonstration of its maximum and powerful scope

Welcome to all those users of the platform #hive, continuing with the socialization of topics associated with natural aspects, biodiversity, sustainable development and environmental care, in this issue that we will share with the community of @ecotrain, we will address the rights that from my perspective nature demands of us.

Therefore, this issue is useful to address relevant aspects that have been presented in this year 2020, where economic, environmental and health problems have been the trend in recent months. The issue of coronaviruses and the fall of the big economies have fixed the attention of citizens and big governments, leaving aside the collateral effects that our unsustainable evolutionary process has caused in the environment.

Throughout history, man has been developing activities that threaten natural biotic systems, injecting thousands of tons of waste into the different spaces of our planet, ranging from the production of solid waste that ends up accumulating in aquifer areas and representing a potential threat to aquatic species in these ecosystems.

Similarly, we observe the excessive environmental pollution generated by industrial activities, where enormous quantities of waste enter our atmosphere, threatening the environmental balance, since in a certain way the levels of pollution have caused phenomena such as acid rain, the greenhouse effect and the loss of biodiversity of species.

Without a doubt, it is man who is primarily responsible for the damage that affects our planet today and apparently does so without the slightest scruple towards natural principles, where somehow the rights that environmental systems have to renew themselves and self-regenerate their carrying capacity are violated.

In this sense, the year 2020, in my opinion, represents the year in which nature has apparently begun to demand its space and its rights. Unfortunately for man, the actions of nature are not the most docile or manageable. In this sense, products of the tireless rains in some countries have produced a large number of deaths and where natural disasters have increased considerably.

Still, there are many of us who wonder:

¿Why has the number of disasters increased in recent years?

My answer to this question is based on how man has consistently attacked nature and the time has come to take the toll of such severe actions. In this sense, the biosphere is somehow recovering its spaces and asserting its rights, which are framed by principles such as: respect for species, pollution-free air and respect for non-renewable resources.

Similarly, in our desire to improve our quality of life we have developed technologies that are perfectly adapted for such a task, however, they distance us and modify the healthy relationship that should exist between man and nature.
