Still going strong in the garden....
It may be mid-October here in the Ozarks, but my garden is still cranking out an impressive harvest. In this video, I show off five plants that are producing amazingly right now, including the Achocha Cucumbers, Toothache Plant flowers, Red-Stemmed Malabar Spinach, Kikinda Competition Strain Edible Gourds (Snake Gourds) and the Korean Goji Berries!

My red malabar is killing it right now. The chard is insane and the New Zealand spinach is huge and I can't keep up with it how fast it grows. I would highly recommend the NZ spinach for anyone, it is similar to the malabar in texture.
Back in Green Bay my sun chokes just started flowering last week. My purple kale is doing great. I got a pepper plant, not sure what kind, that is growing like a monster still. My cold weather herbs are doing OK. Still picking cherry tomatoes. But that probably wont be for long.
