We like to eat a lot of wild edibles. Besides eating some fresh, we also like to preserve some for later on in the year. This time the Little-Peppers were picking wild Redbud flowers for Mama-Pepper to turn into Redbud Jelly!!!! Enjoy the photos!

I love Redbud trees, but I didn't know the blooms were edible.
I think they are pretty in the spring and then the heart-shaped leaves. There was one outside our dining room window growing up and we had a bird feeder there. A family of cardinals came back every year. Good memories !
Wow! They are very good climbers! I would need them to climb my trees for me! Hahaha.
Not for berries, but for trimming branches! LoL
