Greetings fellow Hivians.
Every week @ecotrain hits us with a mind blowing question and this week we are on it again. "why is it hard to meditate."
Meditation can actually be defined from different perspectives and seen from different angles. Many say meditation is a an act of focusing on a particular thing, which might be a sound.
Many people fail to understand that meditation is not just closing your eyes and sitting in a particular sitting position, meditation shouldn't be just focusing on a particular thing.
From my own perspective, I would love to say meditation is an act of flowing with the moment, you must not be seated in a particular sitting position before you can meditate, you can be in the garden garden and meditate, it all depends on how you define Meditation.
I can be seated on my reading table and flow with the moment and meditate on what I see around me. Most times you hear people saying stuffs like my meditation spot, actually you can meditate anywhere you deem fit, and picking a particular spot for it.
Why is it hard to meditate.
To meditate is so hard for some people as they believe meditation is supposed to be done in a certain sitting position and when they cannot get a comfortable spot for such sitting position they don't do it.
Many persons have a spot they call their meditation spot and sometimes work keeps them away from that spot and as result of that they fail to meditate.
since many have that believe that meditation, is as well focusing and concentrating on a particular thing, when that thing is not there they won't see a reason to meditate.
Lack of self awareness, most people loose focus whenever difficult situations come knocking on their door.
BOONS OF MEDITATION.

Meditation is something I think every person should practice.
- it helps ease the mind of stress
- It helps the brain to calm after having a long day.
- it helps one to develop self awareness.
In conclusion I do enjoy meditation, and I see meditation as fun so for sure I enjoy it.
If you see meditation as a difficult task, then you will hardly do it but if you find pleasure doing it, I assure you, you will fall in love with it.
Appreciation goes to @ecotrain for this week's question.
