RE: I Still Have The Chills From My Curb Find Last Night - A Great Story

in ecoTrain2 years ago (edited)

Great eye. Thankfully I was able to make out of the enough of the name to come across their items on ebay. Given the scarcity these days, I'm going to aim for $150 or so since the essence of the piece is still fully intact.

It's often hard to read the signatures on stoneware, sculptures and glassware at night, but if it's signed with something close enough to make out, I'll take it home to research more. I found a super nice piece of blown art glass from the 1980s by a famous artist, but it was cracked badly from the sidewalk impact. That was painful to see, but I took it anyway since it's still technically intact and someone may want it for $150 or so for what it is.

Last night I had a find that was easy to identify with the sticker and Tiffany & Co etching. It's a 8x5" cobalt blue swirled vase without a scratch at all. Made in England. Probably $175+
