Human quality, more than a dichotomy, is an oxymoron; for we have a cruel kindness and we have a cruel compassion, as a species, and not so much as individuals. It is the resulting sum of all our shortcomings, indolences, ignorances; which is proving a calamity for the rest of life on the planet.
And it is vile selfishness, not so much yours, mine, or that of the other, beyond; but the vile collective egoism, that is to say adding the parts that we are the individuals, the companies, the institutions...
But, it is impossible to deny the kindness and love in humanity.
I trust them and I would bet my life.
