I like my food as fresh as possible. I did try growing things on my balcony this year and my tomatoes are doing well although not quite ready and I think I got enough lettuce for 3 green smoothies so I’ve had to expand my shopping as self sustainability is clearly not possible for this year 😅
Found these awesome lettuces in Marks and spencer so treated myself to a few and a couple of herbs. They grown them in store under grow lights. I wish I had a photo of the fridge but my battery died just before taking it! You store them in two cm of water in sunlight s they actually look like all green flower displays!
Meanwhile my own tomatoes are probably one of the only things that was worth growing lol
I also like gardening, the vegetables we grow are pesticide free
Awe I wish I could do more I’m just so limited on a balcony and bizarrely get so many slugs and snails!
sometimes pests are always our obstacle in gardening so we have to use pesticides to be free from pests, even though we know pesticides are not good for health, I salute you, even though you have limited space you can still grow vegetables
