Let's kick off my point of view by firstly explaining what mediation is.
So what is mediation?
MEDITATION.
This is an acting of trying to maintain or achieve calmness, connection with your soul and clearing/freeing up your mind and thoughts.
That's the simple easy i put mediation or the act of meditating.
Firstly to achieve meditation you must try to be calm, get a perfect spot that helps you relax and free up your inner self and just let positive and calm energy flow through your soul. Although this process isn't as easy as advertised, I have tried meditating alot of time and it didn't work out.
Yes, alot of people find it very easy to meditate, especially people who has been used to it.
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO MEDITATE?
So let's talk about our main topic for today, why is it so hard to meditate especially for beginners i would add.
The process of meditating is not that simple, there are few mind tricks that you must apply to help you meditate or achieve meditation.
Firstly you mind must be clear.
Secondly you must maintain calmness, this includes your temper and all.
There are few points from my understanding and experience why it's hard to meditate.
1.Unclear mind
2.Our environment
3.Stress
And lots more, there many reasons why we find it hard to but we will just take this easiest 3.
1.UNCLEAR MIND; you would agree with me that majority of us , if not everybody has a big weight on there shoulders they are trying to easen up. It grows from debts , financial instability, health problems and all sort what.
For someone that is constantly worried about his/her rent expiring, I don't think such person would find it easy to free their mind be able to meditate. Personally i can't, that's the reason why i have failed so many times trying to meditate. I can't just pretend or act like everything is perfect when i know deep down i don't even have food to eat the next hour. Someone with such disturbed mindset ofcourse will find it very hard to meditate.
OUR ENVIRONMENT; If you are someone that lives in a noisy environment, such as cities were there is this constant movement, car horns etc. I don't think you will find it comfortable enough to meditate. Meditation and noise making or busy enviroment doesn't work out that much unless you are pro in meditation like monks for example.
STRESS; People that are always stress from work, thinking and other sorts of think will find it very difficult to calm themselves and meditate.
Mental stress is the worst of it all, we go through alot everyday worried about one problem or the other.
Imagine someone that has a family and isn't even up to the middle class citizen? Even most middle class citizens struggle to put things in place for the family.
Let's take a perfect example of a monk, I believe most of us knows what/who a monk is? You can check it out later on your browser for proper clearification on what and who a monk is.
So far we all know that monks do not get married, they don't have kinds, infact they are more a Catholic priest in the christian religion.
A monk can meditate for hours or days, they find this very easy because they have nothing that bothers them outside there believes, monks are mostly vegeterains and have no interest in owning a car , a house , a family etc. There major focus is there believes and due to the orientation they go through before being monks, it makes it easy for them to meditate morethan everybody else.
If you want to find meditation easy, you must be willing to let go of your thoughts, worries and every other distraction.
