Let's start off by saying thank you to @ecotrain for another edition of the daily weekly task.
Firstly let's draw it all from the genesis of it all.
Disobedience , yes you heard me right. Disobedience is the reason why there are sufferings in the world. That's just the short answer to the question to save you the time but if you want to go into details and find out more then keep scrolling.
DISOBEDIENCE
An act of refusing or abandoning (intentionally or unintentionally) what you were asked to do.
OR
Not keeping to rules
God after creating heaven and earth , rested on the 7tb day ( which is the Sabbath day ) a day of worship , a day of coming together and praising God in the church by today's believers.
God looked upon the earth and heavens admired his own creation but on a second thought he felt something was missing , he felt like there should be someone to look after all these.
He decided to create man in his own image, God created Adam (Genesis 3:9) as the first human being to walk the Earth.
Seeing the loneliness Adam felt , one faithful day God put Adam to sleep in he afternoon. Brought out a rib from Adam and created Eve as Adams companion,
Meanwhile God had already told Adam to kill and eat anything he wishes but never to take a fruit from the forbidden three ( known as the tree of knowledge)
The serpent ( the devil ) gave Eve this apple to eat or should i say tricked Eve into eating this forbidden fruit.
Eve took a bite off this apple ( her eyes were open to see better, know things and all that) . She quickly went to meet Adam, Adam upon having so much trust on his companion didn't even think as much as it being the forbidden fruit.

Adam took a bite of this apple ( instantly his eyes were opened too ) discovering that they were both naked.
When God appeared to them , they quickly hid themselves from God.(Genesis 3:17)

God called : Adam , Adam where are these ?
Adam replied: my Lord , a naked man i am.
God turned to Eve: what have you done ?
Eve replied: it was the serpent who decieved me (Genesis 3:13).
God upon hearing this knew things has gone wrong and they had disobeyed him, God as a punishment for the sins instructed his Angels to chase them out of the beautiful garden of Eden.
They bother covered there nakedness and left

So there you have have it, disobedience.
Had it been Adam and Eve didnt disobey Gods word?
There won't be suffering.
There wont be war
There won't be death
There won't be hunger
There won't be aging
And today look at where the sins of our original father and mother has gotten us, yet today's generation we keep eating the forbidden fruit.
We keep disobeying God's commandments, most times we try to justify our evil deeds.
God being a merciful God always show us this mercies day by day, (maybe if God was to be human , the entire human race could have been wiped out a long time ago).
We blame God for our suffering and misfortunes but yet we forgot we are defaulters.
Maybe if we turn back to God and ask him for forgiveness, he might end our suffering.
God gave us his ten commandments:
- I am the Lord your God. ...
- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
- Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
- Honor your father and your mother.
- You shall not kill.
- You shall not commit adultery.
- You shall not steal.
- You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
- You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
10.You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.
When i look at all these laws and how many i am able to keep daily, i come to realize why there is much suffering in the world. I know we are all human and can never be perfect but we only strive to be.
We can never be as perfect as God , we can only try to be him. Which in my opinion is not easy in anyway because i am someone who uses myself as an example before i judge another person

The guilt of original sin is almost always used to justify the bad that happens to people even though they are good. I consider that this passage of the Bible is just the way they tried to explain many things at the time of its writing
Hello @uzuka. I liked your article that you did a bit of history that is often not told and is necessary. As you say God is merciful and good, He would never hurt us. But if we are disobedient to his laws we do badly. Success in the contest.🌺👍
