An open letter to all Introverts!

Dear introverts,

Don't feel shy, don't feel guilty, don't feel embarrassed because you are introvert. It's not your fault. It's actually not even a fault. It's just natural like any other thing.

People will tell you to change your personality. Society will raise finger on you, people will tag you as lazy/good for nothing, your loved one will misunderstand you. But believe me, you are not what they think. You are powerful, you are worthy. You matter and you are great in your own way.

Try to make your difference your power. Try to focus on what you are good at. And show the world how amazing you are inside out. It's not necessary to be extrovert. The world doesn't need these many extroverts. Being an introvert is okay. Being an introvert is natural. Being introvert is also beautiful.

Be powerful. I am saying it again, be powerful. Because this is what necessary for you, for your personality and for your life. People will judge you, will blame you, may not understand you and that's why you need to be powerful. You need to power yourself so that you can fight for your rights, you can show what is right, you can raise your voice if someone does very wrong to you. But don't and never feel the pressure to change yourself!

You may struggle to express yourself. You will not probably express your love, feeling, and emotions to the world and you may feel pain in your heart for this. But believe me, is totally okay, you can ease the pain, you can find a way to reduce all these negative feelings. And you always can find a better way to express yourself. You don't have to be verbal, you don't have to be loud. Still, you can show your power. You can make yourself visible in many other ways. So never ever feel guilty. Never feel shame because of your personality.

Introverts are the best!

We tend to believe that "we are" in a certain way since we are born and that this is impossible to change. However, we have the ability to generate certain changes in our personality and thus transform ourselves into better people or have more bearable relationships. It's just a matter of committing to yourself.
Do you think long before you speak and do your colleagues think you are insecure? If you decline an invitation to a party, do your friends think you are "weird"?
Perhaps the reason is that your personality leans toward introversion, which is something other than shyness. Although there are people who often confuse both and think that they are synonymous.
But it's not like that.
Therefore, "introversion is not a disease that needs to be cured, nor is it something that needs to be repaired and there would be no reason to repair it either."
On the contrary, many experts believe that introversion is something a person is "born" with, so extraversion is not the only "right" way to be.

Between the shores of pain and pleasure flows the river of life. Only when the mind refuses to flow with life does it stagnate on the shores and become a problem. Flow means acceptance, letting come what comes and letting go what goes "
-Sri Nisargadatta Maharj-

As an introvert myself, this resonates with me
