Green- it's not just a word, it's an emotion which makes us feel fresh. Green means the touch of nature!
Unfortunately, in this busy corporate world going close to nature while we work became impossible. The workplace decors, modern art, and architecture are more like excluding green and including more artificial things. Though there are exceptions and many trying to add nature in the workplace. But we have to agree that in many places it's not possible.
There's no way to deny that green can bring good mood, boost our energy, relax our eye muscles, make us feel fresh. And adding some real plants can add more value.
If possible raise your voice to add a touch of nature in your workplace. It can be some indoor plants, adding some decorative plants or flowers etc. Influence others to be in this and make them understand.
Add some green on the top of your desk, if possible. Place green in front of your eyes. It's not like we need to find the fragrance of beautiful flowers every time. A green plant without any good smell also can make us feel better.
Make others understand how green can bring a positive impact on productivity. This will make your office manager make a positive change.
There are many decorative, indoor, mini plants available which need minimum care, you can choose them. This may sound very silly. But once you add this in your surrounding, around your workplace you will feel the change in yourself.
Taking care of a plant doesn't take much. But the amount of positive energy it flows is enormous. Just add a single plant and you will notice the difference.
Snake plants are especially easy to take care of and have the added benefit of cleaning the air. I water my snake plants once every few weeks. They thrive on neglect.
