Welcome back to this opportunity to discuss the cultures and cuisines of our countries, without minimising the comparison between the two places and their cuisines.
In Korea, although Christmas is not a traditional holiday, it is also celebrated, but more as a romantic and friendly event than a family one. However, Chuseok, which is a harvest festival, is a key date for family reunions, where ancestors are honoured and traditional foods are shared.
In Venezuela, the celebration of Christmas is a very special time, full of traditions such as Christmas Eve dinner, where families gather to enjoy typical dishes such as hallaca, pan de jamรณn and dulce de lechosa.
Both cultures value the importance of family, although the celebrations are different.
In December, 24th and 25th are Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and 31st and 1st are New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
And although Venezuela has many important dates, very few are celebrated; they are generally taken as public holidays for those holidays.
Festival 2, between February and March. vs Spring festivals
According to the cherry blossom festival in Korea, it is a popular celebration where people gather to enjoy the beauty of nature and participate in cultural activities.
At carnivals, we celebrate with costumes, dancing, nature, cultures and togetherness.
Both festivities reflect the community's desire to celebrate and enjoy together.

5.Holidays Across Cultures
Compare a Korean holiday (such as Seollal or Chuseok) with a traditional holiday in your own culture. What similarities or differences do you see in the way people celebrate, and what do these reveal about cultural values?

Kind regards, dear โบ๏ธ Unfortunately, I didn't get around to publishing my participation in time โฑ๏ธ. And it was a difficult task since, although we have many important dates, there are very few in terms of celebration.
The next contest will be very easy @robotgirl2024 , it's about imagining a story with the love of your life in Korea, hehe, of course it will start as a friendship and then in a beautiful Korean marriage.
