And I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization of this competition. I participate in the competition by preparing a content about 'travel', which is one of the topics of the competition. I invite @selmanali68 to participate in the contest.

Ve bu yarışmanın düzenlenmesinde emeği geçen herkese de ayrıca teşekkür ederim. Ben de yarışma konularından olan 'gezi' konusunda bir içerik hazırlayarak yarışmaya katılıyorum. I have prepared content about the city of Bursa before. Bursa is such a rich city that I can't finish introducing all of them with a few contents, of course. In today's content, I will try to introduce the Yeşil mosque and Yeşil Türbe region, which are important places in Bursa.
Bursa şehri hakkında daha önce de içerikler hazırlamıştım. Bursa, o kadar zengin bir şehir ki birkaç içerikle tabi ki tamamını tanıtmayı bitiremem. Bugünkü içeriğimde de Bursa'nın önemli yerlerinden olan Yeşil cami ve Yeşil türbe bölgesini tanıtmaya çalışacağım.
When people say green, Bursa comes to mind first. This is quite natural because Bursa is always described as "Green Bursa". This definition stems from the fact that Bursa was established on the skirts of Uludağ and is a very green city compared to other cities surrounded by forests. In addition, the name of the neighborhood where the Green Mosque and green Tombs are located, which is the subject of this content, is also green.
Yeşil deyince insanların aklına ilk Bursa gelmektedir. Bu gayet de doğaldır çünkü Bursa hep "Yeşil Bursa" diye tanımlanmaktadır. Bu tanımlama Bursa'nın, Uludağ'ın eteklerine kurulmuş olmasından ve etrafı ormanlarla kaplı diğer şehirlere göre oldukça yeşil bir şehir olmasından kaynaklanır. Ayrıca bu içeriğin konusu olan Yeşil cami ve yeşil Türbelerin bulunduğu mahallenin adı da yeşildir.
Since it was the weekend, I decided to go to Bursa. I planned this trip as both a shopping and a small trip. After doing my shopping at the Grand Bazaar, I went to the nearby Green Tomb. This Tomb, which amazes me every time I see it as a structure, is one of the most important symbols of Bursa, in my opinion. Its huge height compared to a tomb and the tile work of every shade of green on its outer walls are really worth seeing. The crown gate at the entrance and the tilework on the gate almost resembles the mihrab of a mosque.
Hafta sonu olması sebebiyle Bursa'ya gitmeye karar verdim. Bu seyahatimi de hem alışveriş hem de küçük bir gezi olarak planladım. Kapalı Çarşıda alışverişimi yaptıktan sonra yakınlarda bulunan Yeşil Türbeye geçtim. Bir yapı olarak her gördüğümde beni kendine hayran bırakan bu Türbe bence Bursa'nın en önemli sembollerindendir. Bir türbeye göre devasa yükseklikte oluşu ve dış duvarlarında yeşilin her tonundan olan çini işlemeciliği gerçekten görülmeye değer. Girişteki taç kapısı ve kapı üzerinde bulunan çini işlemeleri de adeta bir caminin mihrabını andırıyor.
After taking a tour outside the tomb, I went inside and watched and photographed the artistic beauties inside. But I had a hard time walking because it was so crowded inside. This is an area that attracts a lot of tourists and the tomb is usually crowded. You have to be careful not to bump into someone while walking.
Türbenin dışında bir tur attıktan sonra içine girdim ve içindeki sanatsal güzellikleri seyrettim ve fotoğrafladım. Fakat içerisi çok kalabalık olduğundan yürümekte çok zorlandım. Burası oldukça fazla turist çeken bir bölgedir ve Türbe içerisi genelde kalabalık olur. Yürürken birilerine çarpmamak için dikkatli olmalısınız.
After visiting the Green Tomb, I went to the Green Mosque near it. He noticed that the outside color of this mosque was cream and white, and I wondered why this mosque was named green. When I entered the mosque, I realized that the inside of this place was also decorated with green tiles. I thought that the mosque was named this way, either because the name of that region was green or because the interior was decorated with green tiles. It's a bit of a complicated sentence, but I'm sorry. ☺️
Yeşil Türbeyi gezdikten sonra yakınında bulunan Yeşil camiye geçtim. Bu caminin dışının renginin krem ve beyaz olduğunu fark etti ve acaba niye bu camiye yeşil isminin verildiğini düşündüm. Caminin içine girdiğimde burasının içinin de yeşil çinilerle süslenmiş olduğunu farkettim. Caminin bu şekilde isimlendirilmesi ya o bölgenin isminin yeşil olmasından ya da içerisinin süslemesinin yeşil çinilerle yapılmış olmasından olabileceğinin düşündüm. Biraz karmaşık bir cümle oldu ama kusura bakmayın. ☺️
It was raining today and I was stuck inside the mosque for a while. After the rain stopped, I went out and completed my little but fun excursion today.
Bugün yağmur yağıyordu ve bir süre caminin içinde mahsur kaldım. Yağmur dindikten sonra çıktım ve bugünkü küçük ama eğlenceli gezimi tamamladım.

Hello snlbaskurt! Thank you for participating in our contest. I liked your content about the Green Tomb and Green Mosque. Your explanation was perfect. I've never been to this place but I like the architecture of the tombs and the decoration of the building. I think that this contest is good for us to learn more things and exchange information. Hi @snlbaskurt. There is an ancient history all over Bursa. I think Bursa is the second city you would like to visit after Istanbul in terms of culture. Thank you for this beautiful article and good luck to you. I wish you success in the competition. :)
