Tip- Tap Woke Me Up.

Tip.

Tap....

Tip....

Tap.

I sprang out of the bed and thought, "Dang it! The A/C is dripping again!" I thought of all the stuff on top of our wardrobe that could get soaked.

Huh? I found everything all ready on the floor and there's a bucket catching all the tippity - taps. I've been so dead to the world thought it all. The husband did it all by himself - - putting those big boxes and luggages down without me knowing.

I must really have been tired from all of yesterday's stuff.

A Teenager!

First, I had to prepare some food for my eldest son's 13th birthday. We didn't really have a party or anything, but just a simple meal for our little family to share. We didn't have guests, apart from their playmates who come over every afternoon.

But I still found myself busy in the kitchen the whole day from when I got up in the morning until 3pm.

The Hospital.

In between, I called the hospital for an immediate appointment with the doctor to get the husband checked up. He had been complaining of chest pains from the previous day. We ended up just walking in for there was no same-day appointment basis in the hospital.

At the Cardiology Clinic.

We reached the hospital a few minutes past 5pm as the Filipino doctor we were hoping to meet was available only until 6pm. As we were waiting for our turn, hubs was asked by the nurses what he was there for, and said it was for chest pain. So instead of waiting for his turn with the doctor, he was ushered to the Emergency room.

He was given IV Drip of paracetamol, tested for troponin T HS markers (a test for to rule out cardiac arrest, which turned out negative, thankfully), and other routine tests at the ER. As the IV finished, he said that the pain subsided already though he was kept attached to the machine to monitor his blood pressure.

It was already almost 8pm when we were ushered upstairs for x-ray.

It was quick at RADIOLOGY department but we still had to meet the cardiologist. It was already almost 9pm when we were called.

The doctor suspected muscular pains only but since the hubs has a family history of heart issues, he ordered for more tests - resting ECG and stress ECG, and a fasting blood test for cholesterol.

We were able to finish the resting ECG but decided to get the treadmill test on Monday as it was already late and the kids were left alone at home.

Wew! What a day it was. My eyes were droopy and my the soles of my feet were aching. I just took a quick shower as we got home and fell to the bed, dead to the world. No wonder I didn't hear the tippity tap...

Best to have these health issues checked than to be sorry. Feeling relieved?

Thanks! Yes, he's feeling a lot better now. Just need to have the stress ecg and some more blood works done on Monday.

Omg, your day was really hard!

The hospital part was worrisome.

You guys take it easy okay? Xoxoxoxo

Thanks sis. ❤️ We try. :D

Seems you had a busy day but glad you were able to get a good night rest :) I hope your husband's tests will come out good and non-serious. Have a wonderful weekend :)

Thank you! It was hectic indeed. Thankfully the troponin test was negative and that was a relief. Have a great weekend as well. :D

Oh, that is so good to know :) Thank you and stay fab :-D
