Not on nature ice but on a skate track. Both pleasure and training ring are available for people to come and enjoy the ice.
We went there, and because its semi open in the cold and nothing else is open there like bars or restaurants due to the lockdown the people that reserved a ticket before the lockdown, could come and skate. So we were lucky. There were only about 50 people in total but that was great for us 6. I went with my best friend and her kids and my two youngest boys.
It was so cold, but we had three hours of fun. We went to all three parts, but the curling track wasn't available.
The restaurant with bread and Unox sausage, a dutch treat and hot chocolate wasnt available but ok that was what we had at home.
On the fun track there were dolphins where you could ice skate behind when you aren’t good on skates.
The oval is also used by ice skaters that train for the matches when the nature ice is here on the waters of Holland.
The track is on the hockey fields of my club. They rent the fields out in the winter to the skate entrepreneurs to earn some extra money.
I have ice hockey skates. But most people in Holland skate on noren, a dutch made ice skate to go fast. We have a history of many people who are great ice skating AND we also are great on the world podium speedsakting and shorttrack.
The boys had so much fun, they didn't want to go after the three hours.
These days have a silver lining, and I cherish them ways.

It must be a lot of fun to go on ice skating @brittandjosie . I haven't had the privilege to go on ice skating before and I'm hoping to one day. Well I think I'd make use of the dolphins since it going to be my first time, ah ah.

I would love to go iceskating one day, probably need the dolphin to keep my balance but it must be so fun. Once thing I would like to know is if you fall, does it hurt so much? comparing to skiing?
