Everyone has a few rules that are quite important to them but I consider these as very basic rules which everyone should abide by especially if it's a first date. Keep reading!
Dress up
I like to look good but I also like to leave a good impression. So, i take my time, put in a little effort and look really stunning. Being intentional about my whole appearance is a big thing for me and also, I wear an elegant scent.
Be on time.
Time is very important to me and to you too, I assume. If someone does not value my time, I equate that to not having any respect for me. Please, keep to time but if you're unable to show up in time, a heads-up will be appropriate.
No third parties
This is very rude, especially when no prior notification is given. It could be translated to mean that you do not like the person. But, why go out with someone you don't like? Also, if you're uncomfortable with them, opt to have the date in an open environment. Don't be insensitive.
Exhibit good manners.
Be polite to everyone from the security to the doorman to the waiter - everybody! We are often judged by the way we treat others and you do not want to leave an impression of being rude and unable to treat others with kindness and respect. Also, observe good dining etiquettes.
Good conversational skills
You don't want to engage in conversations about your ex, about sex, you don't want to be too argumentative/confrontational or even checking your phone's constantly. Don't interrupt when the other person is speaking, don't talk too much and don't go giving out personal and unnecessary information.
Listen/Be present
A date is supposed to be an intimate one-on-one time where you get to know the person well so, bring your full attention, put your phone and purse aside, observe more, talk less, pay attention to what the person is saying ask questions, be honest, smile and savour every moment.

To be genuine and full focus on that person you like is the way, that is only way to get to know each other.

I agree to every single point here, I remember going on a date one time and the guy was shuffling between phone, food and me.
The conversation was so boring as he kept blabbing about unnecessary things and his useless achievements, he didn't even let me talk. After that day, I got home and blocked him
Why then did he leave his house? What a waste of precious time.
I probably would have blocked him while we were still at the date venue. Sorry about that experience my dear.
good choice of the rules for dating, I think that people time and pay attention, be polite, kind, are very important values that must exist in any circumstance
