IM FROM MARS OR WILL BE ON MARS? - ¿DE MARTE SOY O EN MARTE ESTARÉ? // CONTEST LADIES ON HIVE - 67th EDITION

in Ladies of Hive2 years ago (edited)

When a goal is hard, it does not mean that its impossible to achieve... Just you decide if you want to do it or not.

For a woman, there are dilemmas that cannot be escaped, that must be faced. Courage being one of the most demanded values. But everything in this world has the ability to be overcome, sometimes we dont know how we would overcome them if we have confidence in our abilities, because we will have the way to do it.

The inspiration for this post was a puzzling question, a question asked by the Ladies of Hive community in their initiative this week:

"Elon Musk announced that the first mission to Mars will
be in 2026. It will be the first manned trip,
which implies risks and uncertainties such as not being able
to return to earth.
Even with this uncertainty, would you like to be
the first woman to make this kind of space trip?"

STARTING THE INTERNAL DISCUSSION

I recognized that the possibility of going to space would be a longing for many, not only because of the possibilities that few could have, but to obtain recognition over other humans... but for me, its not a coherent goal to undertake this journey.

Mars is a very distant planet with the currently available technology, a journey of many years one way and with a destination without any certainty of what will be found, with the uncertainty of not even having the certainty of being able to return to Earth.

I dont pretend to know everything that the future holds for me in life, the unknown of tomorrow still makes us develop the possibility of being adaptable beings, of getting the best out of every moment. But there are things in which our principles and values hold us back, in which we must learn to recognize who we are and what we will enjoy by achieving this or that goal.

In reference to the question that has been the origin of this post, well, clarify that... Im a very sociable being, a being of having contact with the world around me, of helping whoever I can, even if have not known it for a long time.

But... above all... a woman who is nourished by the world and intends to return a little of those nutrients to others.

Therefore, the possibility of being in a place with limited people, in which communication is rationed and life is imprisoned in a few meters from one wall to the other, well that is not for me an ideal of possible life.

A trip to the infinite universe, is at this moment for me, a form of infinite torture where without even conquering the beautiful places of our planet or knowing the best of where we live, because we pretend to be the masters of another part of the universe.

I still find it incomprehensible the desire of humans to get new places to inhabit in the universe, when they have not achieved a coherent balance to protect and live in harmony with their own planet.

And this its all my friends! Now my spanish version of this post...

Great post , i can relate, don't have any desire to travel to space..

Always i said that have some special people to special task... if a woman like to silence or loneliness, her internal world... in her brain... well, for this woman the trip to Mars is a good option.

True, I agree. I am sure the right people will go for it. And good luck for them ;)

You have a valid point; what's the purpose of going all that way when we really don't have a handle on things here? I'm with you; I'd not go; I would rather see what's in store for me here as life is an adventure. It's not always good and it's not always bad, but there is a definite plan for all of us. We just have to wait and see! Thanks for sharing!

Always we have a new point for see... a new way in this small world to discovery the beauty in all... Not all is perfect and this is good ;-)

Maybe all this lockdown is a preparation for mars live... Just kidding.

I think is all matters of time to we get there and start populating mars.

And just couple hours ago i release the first artwork inspired on Mars from my new collection.
