Hello, everyone! I hope you are all doing well. The other day, while waiting to go to class, I started looking at different filters on social media for fun and realized how much they changed my face, making my nose smaller, removing my pores, and making my eyes bigger. The filter that changed my features the least was this one, and that's exactly why I liked it. This whole experience reminded me of a conversation I had with a classmate a while ago. I was taking pictures with her, and she asked me to please use a filter. She asked me why I didn't use one, and I told her it just depended on my mood. She told me she couldn't take any photos without a filter. At first, I didn't quite understand, but it made me think about how our confidence depends on certain things.
I can take photos without filters, but it's hard to leave them unedited (which isn't the same thing, but it's similar). I also think that everyone has something about them when it comes to taking photos. Some people don't even like having their photo taken. Is it really a matter of taste, or is it more related to self-esteem? How do you feel when you see yourself in a photo? Is it the same as how you feel when you see yourself in a mirror?
I'll leave both photos here so you can see how much my face changes. Please excuse my sour expression, but I naturally look like this all the time. I hadn't realized it until I edited it for my cover photo.

I think a person can decide to use a filter or an edit if they want to, or not. It is up to them alone. I think you look awesome either way! I hope you continue to post your thoughts and feelings and pics here for a long long time.
Have a great day!
