Olvídate del Día de San Valentín: ¿cómo demostrar de verdad a alguien que te importa? ¿Se trata de un gran gesto, un regalo considerado, palabras sinceras o algo totalmente diferente?

Tengo a una amiga de toda la vida prácticamente, entre las ocupaciones de ella y las mías, desde hace unos años nos vemos poco, desde la pandemia para ser exactos, y bueno su salud mental ha sufrido en el ultimo año, la primera vez ella a fuerza de voluntad logro recuperarse, el apoyo de su esposo, de su mama fue importante.
Nos habíamos visto pero a carreras, y hablamos poco, siempre tenia ella algo que hacer y yo pues también y nos veíamos cuando llevamos los niños al colegio que, aunque no estudian en el mismo sitio pasamos por el mismo camino.
Siempre había la frase “tenemos que reunirnos “y nada que eso sucede.
Pero otra vez sufrió una recaída, y esta vez fue un poco mas fuerte, esta vez asistió a un especialista y gracias a Dios este le receto muchos medicamentos y ha mejorado bastante.

We had seen each other but only at races, and we spoke little, she always had something to do and so did I, and we saw each other when we took the children to school, although we did not study in the same place, we went through the same way.
There was always the phrase "we have to meet" and nothing like that happens.
But again he suffered a relapse, and this time it was a little stronger, this time he went to a specialist and thank God he prescribed him a lot of medication and he has improved a lot.
Y por supuestos estas ultimas semanas nos hemos visto de lejos y solo se veían los manos levantados a lo lejos... 😅
Pero hoy no fue así, hoy olvide la lonchera de mi hijo en casa, cuando me di cuenta en el camino era un poco tarde así que lleve al niño al cole y tuve que regresar a buscarla y aunque ese momento no fue agradable, en el camino la vi de lejos y dije allá va mi amiga con las niñas, y dije la voy a sorprender, así que después de dejar la lonchera de mi hijo. Tome otro camino y me llegue hasta la escuela de las hijas de mi amiga, y me quede afuera esperando mirando hacia los lados...
And of course these last few weeks we have seen each other from afar and only saw our hands raised in the distance... 😅
But today was not like that, today I forgot my son's lunch box at home, when I realized on the way it was a little late so I took the child to school and I had to go back to get it and although that moment was not pleasant, on the way I saw it from afar and I said there goes my friend with the girls, and I said I'm going to surprise her, so after leaving my son's lunch box. I took another road and I got to my friend's daughters' school, and I stood outside waiting, looking at the sides...
En un momento pensé ¡ay Dios se habrá ido!, porque tardo bastante, 😅 al rato salió por fin y cuando me ve, le pareció extraño verme allí... y me dijo amigaaaa, y nos dimos un fuerte abrazo, de esos que necesitas siempre... Así que hoy le di esa sorpresa a mi amiga, hablamos y reímos un rato, no se trata de regalos, se trata de aquellos que no tienen precio... a veces una buena risa o una conversación un abrazo de un ser querido es todo el regalo que necesitas.
¿Y por qué comento lo de la lonchera de mi hijo?, porque si no olvido el desayuno de mi hijo, no la hubiese visto, no se me hubiese ocurrido perseguirla y darle esa sorpresa, porque se que le gusto verme y no ser solo un saludo a lo lejos.
At one point I thought oh God she must be gone, because it took her a long time, 😅 after a while she finally came out and when she saw me, she thought it was strange to see me there... and she told me amigaaaaa, and we had a big hug, the kind you always need.... So today I gave that surprise to my friend, we talked and laughed for a while, it's not about gifts, it's about those priceless ones... sometimes a good laugh or a conversation a hug from a loved one is all the gift you need.
And why do I mention my son's lunch box, because if I didn't forget my son's breakfast, I wouldn't have seen her, I wouldn't have thought to chase her and give her that surprise, because I know she likes to see me and not just a greeting from afar.
