Una joven de nombre Rosa
bonita pero demasiado temerosa
criada en un convento
y lo que digo no es invento.
La construcción del sitio
estaba rodeado de vidrios
que producían escalosfríos
con pasillos largos y sombríos
cerca de la habitación
donde se encontraba
ella durmiendo.
Una noche se despertó
porque una tormenta
la ventana abrió.
Salió y cuando caminaba
una sombra se acercaba
y ella, por su rostro,
sudor y lágrimas brotaba.
Era la imagen de un sacerdote
pero sin cabeza y de figura esbelta.
Llorando buscaba la puerta
pero sus piernas no sentía.
Sus rodillas chocaban
una contra la otra sin fin
emitiendo un extraño sonido
que se oía como Trick or Treat!
El espanto se movía
y ella se estremecía.
Escuchaba relámpagos y truenos
con un escandaloso sonido
mientras tapaba sus oídos.
Le pidió perdón a Dios
por ser tan nerviosa
y ocurrió una cosa bien curiosa
cuando una monjita llamada Suyín
prendió la luz y se dieron cuenta por fin
que el supuesto cura sin cabeza y sin patas
no era más que una bata
colgada y reflejada
en los vidrios del pasillo.
Rosa recuperó su brillo
y aprendió de manera inteligente
que las miradas te llevan los monstruos a la mente.
Ja, ja, ja, ja.
A young woman named Rosa
pretty but too fearful
maid in a convent
and what I say is not an invention.

was surrounded by glass
that produced chills
with long and shady corridors

she sleeping.

when a nun named Suyín
turned on the light and they finally realized
that the supposed priest without head and without legs
it was nothing more than a robe
hung and reflected
in the hallway glasses.
Rosa regained her shine
and learned intelligently
that looks bring monsters to mind.
Ha, ha, ha.
¡Vaya, me tenías absorto! Pensé qué podría estar viendo esta pobre monja, y luego dejaste caer el remate ... ja, ja, una túnica ... ¿cuántas veces nos pasa esto, verdad? Nuestra mente nos juega una mala pasada. Muy apto para la insignia de la historia de miedo de Halloween. Bien hecho.
Wow you had me engrossed! I thought what could this poor Nun be seeing, and then you dropped the punchline... ha ha a robe ... how many times does this happen to us, right? Our mind plays tricks on us. So apt for the Halloween scary story badge. Well done.
