Just a few days ago I realized that Venezuelans have been leaving our country for more than 25 years to find a place that gives us the security that our country offered us.
We Venezuelans did not usually go out and if we did we were crazy to return home, home. We went out to enjoy a foreign country and we returned because we have an attachment that not everyone has, the attachment to the family.

In the world there are many very beautiful countries, their nature, their customs, their culture were things that always caught our attention, but we reached the point that ours is the best. Do not think me arrogant, I do not pretend to be a person who wants to reproach or discuss the beauties of my country at all, but history proves us right when we have had all kinds of immigrants and nationalities who have stayed in our country and have done their lives there.
We never imagined that at some point we would have to leave our homes, take a couple of suitcases and pack up all our feelings, memories and customs and take them to another place. We have to be immigrants now.

The only thing we did not bring in those suitcases was our entire family, if you came with your children you left your parents, siblings, nephews there and you have had to mourn your dead from afar. This is the same as a war, where you leave your country not for pleasure but because you can't stand the bombardment of the economic, social and political crisis that our sacred place has now become.
I love to travel and I am one of those who think that one should travel the world alone with a passport, without visas, and that no border tells you that you cannot pass and stay there for a year or two and return.

We Venezuelans are spread all over the world and I thank the world for receiving us, but I am sure that if we could return to our country again, with the security that we had before, with an abundance of work, food, love and full With so much culture we would not think twice, and the reason is only because of the family, we are very familiar.
I can live in Colombia, Canada, the United States, Spain or Bora Bora, but if I'm alone I won't be able to stay long because the Family Country is the one we created and we have it in our hearts and in our thoughts.

We have found exquisite gastronomy in each country where we have been, but the Venezuelan has adapted to an endless number of palates and with a diverse gastronomy such as: Italy with its rich pasta, the United States with its Hot Dogs, hamburgers adapted to our ingredients and the famous Dougnots. France with its French bread and little pieces, China with its Chinese rice, and an endless number of dishes, all very tasty, adapted to our idiosyncrasies.
Within our country we can take a tour of amazing places: Desert in the Medanos de Coro, incredible beaches in the Falcon State, Snow in the Pico del Aguila in the Merida State, Jungle in Amazonas and a small colony of Germans in Colonia Tovar.

2️⃣ Where would you like to be in five years? Where do you see yourself?
These are the 2 questions that our friend @saffisara asks in the #ladiesofhive community, I want to relate them to each other.
Where would I live and why? I would live in a place that gives me economic and health security, where my grandchildren can study, where I can take my grandchildren to a park so they can play without fear of seeing an assault, where I can buy medicines and where we can work and be well rewarded for our work. And very important: in our Family Country, together as we have always done.
Where would I like to be in 5 years? I would like to be with my family, I am already 61 years old and it is not good that I am alone or separated from my children, all 3 want me to be with them but the distance separates us in body but not in soul. Where do I see myself? I see myself happy and pleased accompanied by my children, my grandchildren, my sisters and helping them grow with my advice and giving them lots of love and receiving lots of love.

Buscando un lugar seguro para mi y mi familia.- Concurso comunitario Ladies of Hive #118
Hace apenas unos dias me di cuenta que los Venezolanos tenemos mas de 25 años saliendo de nuestro pais para buscar un lugar que nos de la seguridad que nos brindaba nuestro pais.
Los Venezolanos no soliamos salir y si lo haciamos estabamos locos por regresar a la casa, al hogar. Saliamos a disfrutar de un pais extranjero y regresabamos porque tenemos un apego que no lo tiene cualquiera, el apego a la familia.
En el mundo hay muchos paises muy lindos, su naturaleza, sus costumbres, su cultura fueron cosas que siempre nos llamo la atencion, pero llegabamos al punto de que lo nuestro es lo mejor. No me crean prepotente, para nada pretendo ser una persona que quiere echar en cara ni discutir las bellezas de mi pais, pero la historia nos da la razon cuando hemos tenido todo tipo de inmigrantes y nacionalidades que se han quedado en nuestro pais y han hecho sus vidas alli.
Nunca nos imaginamos que nos tocaria en algun momento salir de nuestras casas, tomar un par de maletas y empacar todos nuestros sentimientos, recuerdos y costumbres y llevarlas a otro lugar. Nos toco ser ahora los inmigrantes.
Lo unico que no trajimos en esas maletas fue a nuestra familia completa, si te viniste con tus hijos dejaste alla a tus padres, hermanos, sobrinos y te ha tocado llorar a tus muertos desde lejos. Esto es igual a una guerra, donde sales de tu pais no por gusto sino porque no aguantas el bombardeo de crisis economica, social y politica en la que ahora se ha convertido nuestro lugar sagrado.
Los Venezolanos estamos regados por el mundo y doy las gracias al mundo por recibirnos, pero estoy segura de que si pudieramos regresar a nuestro pais otra vez, con la seguridad que antes teniamos, con la abundancia de trabajo, de alimentos, de amor y llenos de tanta cultura no lo pensariamos dos veces, y la razon es solo por la familia, somos muy familiares.
Puedo vivir en Colombia, Canada, Estados Unidos, España o Bora Bora, pero si estoy solo no lograre quedarme mucho tiempo porque el Pais Familia es el que creamos nosotros y ese lo tenemos en nuestro corazon y en nuestro pensamiento.
Hemos encontrado una gastronomia exquisita en cada pais donde hemos estado, pero el Venezolano se ha adaptado a un sin fin de paladares y con toda una gastronomia diversa como: Italia con su rica pasta, Estados Unidos con sus Hot Dog, Hamburquesas adaptadas a nuestros ingredientes y las famosas Dougnots. Francia con su pan frances y los cachitos, China con su arroz Chino, y un sin fin de platos todos muy sabrosos adaptados a nuestra idiosincrasia.
Dentro de nuestro pais podemos hacer un Tour por lugares asombrosos: Desierto en los Medanos de Coro, Playas increibles en el Estado Falcon, Nieve en el Pico del Aguila en el Estado Merida, Selva en Amazonas y una pequeña colonia de Alemanes en la Colonia Tovar.

2️⃣ ¿Dónde te gustaría estar en cinco años? ¿Dónde te ves a ti mismo?
Estas son las 2 preguntas que hace nuestra amiga @saffisara en la comunidad de #ladiesofhive, yo las quiero relacionar la una con la otra.
Donde viviria y por que ? Viviria en un lugar que me brinde la seguridad economica, de salud, donde mis nietos puedan estudiar, donde pueda llevar a mis nietos a un parque para que jueguen sin temor a que vean un asalto, donde pueda comprar medicinas y donde podamos trabajar y ser bien recompensados por nuestro trabajo. Y muy importante: en nuestro Pais Familia, juntos como siempre lo hemos hecho.
Donde me gustaria estar dentro de 5 años ? Me gustaria estar junto a mi familia, ya tengo 61 años y no es bueno que este sola o separada de mis hijos, todos 3 quieren que este con ellos pero la distancia nos separa de cuerpo pero no de alma. Donde me veo a mi misma ? Me veo feliz y complacida acompañada de mis hijos, mis nietos, mis hermanas y ayudandolos a crecer con mis consejos y brindandoles mucho amor y recibiendo mucho amor.
Mi querida @isabelpena, leo tus palabras y las siento como mías. Ahora nos tocó a nosotras salir de nuestra tierra en busca de un lugar mejor, y con el deseo de que podamos regresar al nuestro, con una realidad mejor para todos. Me dio mucho gusto leer tus reflexiones. Saludos y un fuerte abrazo.

I think the wish to travel and see the world is a thing many of us share. I want to see places to and the countries you mention here are on my list to.
It is one thing tho to travel by choice to see that place, but unfair to be forced to cause your hometown isn't what it should be.
Home is where your family is, where you grew up and buildt things yourself. I really hope you get to see all places you wish for, but I also wish for things in Venezuela to get better so people can have a deserved good life there ❤️

Venezuela is a beautiful country, only for now it is very neglected. But we have faith that soon it will be the same country that it was before and that we can return there. Those places are incredible and I would like to know them all!
