It's been a while, again and again, life keep coming and tussle me down.
The Feed Store I've been working at for weekly pay closed last October 26, 2023. It's the only fixed earning work I have. I was told a day before and the next day, the robbery triggered the owner to close it right away.
I've been home since then but I can barely find the time to write a blog for I keep my hands busy to avoid thinking so much of things that may frustrate me.
Gathering firewood is kind of therapeutic for me, especially the cracking and snapping sound of dried wood as I ready it to be tied up.
If you notice the time, I'm supposed to be done with lunch but I haven't. After I fed the pigs when I arrived from my community visitation, Mom called that the cow is giving birth so I run up and down the hill to witness it.
Our cow Budangdang literally helpless for the two legs and the head came out at the same time. The calf was gasping that my Mom decided to pull the calf's legs using her spare clothes for you know, it's slimy.
Thank God he's safe. The calf is safe and now, he's healthily running round her Mom grazing.
It was a momentous event for me taking off my mind on my bills and debts to pay. I was able to savor the great blessing.
Waytwayt (pronounced WhiteWhite) is almost due too, and we're hoping she'll have a safe delivery as Budangdang.
Farm life is tough and so much work. (I'll tell the vegetable story on the next blog.) As I do these chores, feeding and tending, it doesn't pay. Well, yet. It doesn't pay right away but Dad says, as long as you do things, it will pay off eventually.
Indeed. It took so long for the cow to give birth but we can sell the calf maybe in 2025 if he'll grow fast. We can always hope for the best, right?
This is just a quick update. I have so many things to share but I need to cook my pigs' food now and might sell 4 heads soon for I don't have money left to sustain them until the ripe age to sell for profit. We can't always profit but it won't be always like this.

Hello @jellyvine. I can imagine that farm life is difficult. I hope that your situation improves in terms of finding other employment. It's a shame that theft forces so many vendors to close their shops. Even here in the U.S. vandalism and theft cause problems for retailers. The result is higher prices for their customers.
