Cuenta la leyenda que por allá en el año 2000 D.C. tres amigas se fueron un fin de semana de compras a un centro comercial el cual estaba de moda en ese momento 👠👜👓

Después de caminar los diferentes niveles 👫, almorzar en la feria 🌮🍨, entrar en casi todas las tiendas de ropa y calzado 👗👡, las amigas deciden comprar zapatos. Dos de ellas estaban acostumbradas a usar tacones pero para Lis era algo nuevo.
Entusiasmadas las chicas se prueban variedad de zapatos, tacones altos y medios buscando la comodidad y elegancia que combinara con el uniforme de trabajo.
Los zapatos de moda tenían una pequeña plataforma lo cual amortiguaba la pisada y eran algo acolchados, el tacón de 10cm aproximadamente.
Ara y Ena ya habían decidido que comprar pero Lis estaba indecisa. Motivada por sus amigas Lis decide arriesgarse y también llevar el mismo tipo de calzado alto.
Luego de las compras las chicas se despiden y cada quien se marcha a su casa.

Excited, the girls tried on a variety of shoes, high heels and medium heels, looking for comfort and elegance to match their work uniforms.

Al llegar a la oficina se quita los zapatos y coloca los pies en suelo para sentir algo plano. Al rato debe colocarse de nuevo los zapatos, pues se encontraba en su lugar de trabajo. Sus amigas también estaban estrenando el calzado y para ellas todo era perfecto.🤗
Así pasa todo el día, quitándose y poniéndose los zapatos.
Early Monday morning Lis got ready to go to the office and her new shoes were the protagonist. Without her own car she used the subway 🚈 to go everywhere.
From the subway station to the office she had to walk four blocks. Despite the cushioning of the shoes, what was bothering her was the height of the heel, she felt that her feet were cramped, sore. 😞
When she got to the office, she took off her shoes and placed her feet on the floor to feel something flat. After a while she had to put her shoes back on, as she was at her workplace. Her friends were also wearing their shoes for the first time and for them everything was perfect.🤗

Llego la hora de salida, de nuevo debía caminar las cuatro cuadras para llegar al metro y el trayecto hasta su casa era de 12 estaciones, 20 minutos aproximadamente.⏳
Lis estaba deseosa de llegar y quitarse los zapatos que le tenían los pies acalambrados pero faltando 4 estaciones para su destino, informan que todos deben abandonar la estación y tomar transporte superficial 😩, el tren venía con fallas y el recorrido estaba tardando más de lo normal.
Sin tener otra opción sale a la avenida la espera de un taxi, mototaxi o camioneta que la lleve a su casa. La única opción fue camioneta de pasajero 🚌 y el viaje lo seguía haciendo de pie y muy incómoda por la cantidad de personas.
Al fin la parada y se baja del transporte, como puede cruza la avenida y camina una cuadra hasta su casa, las lágrimas empezaron a salir 😫 por la impotencia de no poder hacer nada, ya eran las 7:00 pm.
Al llegar a la residencia decide quitarse los zapatos y caminar descalza 👣, es allí cuando siente alivio después de toda la travesía.

Lis was eager to get there and take off her shoes that had her feet cramped, but with 4 stations to her destination, they informed that everyone should leave the station and take surface transportation😩, the train was having problems and the trip was taking longer than normal.
With no other option Lis went out to the avenue waiting for a cab, motorcycle cab or van to take her home. The only option was a passenger van🚌 and the trip was still standing and very uncomfortable because of the number of people.
Finally, she got off the bus, crossed the avenue and walked a block to her house, tears started to flow because of the helplessness 😫of not being able to do anything, it was already 7:00 pm.
When she arrives at the residence she decides to take off her shoes and walk barefoot👣, it is there when she feels relief after all the journey.
Al día siguiente les comenta a sus amigas lo sucedido y les dice que no quiere saber nada de los zapatos de tacón, así no luzca tan elegante como ella quería. 😐
El día miércoles lleva los zapatos al trabajo y se los regala a su amiga Ara que calzaba el mismo número que ella. Lis no volvió a comprar tacones.
Fin de la historia.
The next day she tells her friends what happened and tells them that she wants nothing to do with the high heels, even if she doesn't look as elegant as she wanted. 😐
On Wednesday she took the shoes to work and gave them to her friend Ara, who wore the same size as her. Lis never bought heels again.

Lamento lo de los tacones, yo uso tacones pero no mucho, actualmente para el trabajo uso tenis o calzado deportivo...por cierto esos últimos tacones estampados en flores me encantan son mi estilo de tacones puntiagudos...me dieron deseos de comprar un par nuevo....saludos .....suerte
Jajaja a mi me gustan pero de lejos. Los admiro pero hasta allí. Me quedo con el tacón de cuña que no supera los 5cm 😀

Me identifico con tu historia, yo me hubiese puesto a llorar desde el anuncio del operador... imagino el dolor en el cuerpo al siguiente día.
Y con el metro como medio transporte, cualquier cosa puede suceder, arrollamiento, fallas, o esperando ordenes de CCO,🤣
Admiro a las mujeres que usan tacones. Mis compañeras de trabajo llegaban en zapatillas, una vez en la oficina, se colocaba sus tacones.

I retired my high heels as I don't feel as young anymore but depending on my Vanity vs. Pain ratio, I learned quick to wear comfy shoes when I commute and keep the heels in the backpack when I get to my destination to change into.
