The training we received during childhood tend to shape us as we grow older. You were very fortunate to have had a grandmother who disciplined you to mould you, and not to break you.
In my own case, it was my mother and my maternal grandfather who disciplined me, as I lost my Dad when I was much younger. Today, I am grateful for the values they instilled in me.
