All hail the beautiful ladies, mothers and mothers to be.
I see mothers as angelic figures who has the ability to bring peace within nations. They have the ability to bring forth life. They have the ability to groom the leaders of tomorrow. Mothers are the best ya'know.
If there is any word that encompasses angelic future, then that is the word I would use to describe my mom because she surpassed anything I can ever think of. She's more than the best.
I have many memories about my mom. Many beautiful memories but the one memory I will love to share is when I'm being scolded.
Trust an African mom, she always has her slippers and broom ready for triple action. Haha
What makes this memory stand out is because when I am being scolded, I use to be very angry. Very very annoyed that I always feel like packing out of the house to God knows where. Haha
After each round of flogging, i will be left to get angry but called back after a while for some sense to be added to my head. Then she will tell the reason for the flogging and then pet me so that I will calm down and see reasons why I was being flogged. I was shown love afterwards and my conscience will start talking to me automatically.
Growing up, and moving to out of home, I have met many people. However, these people will never correct me for anything I do wrong. They will always praise my goodness and badness which has made me think. Are these people real? One thing I know is that - the ones who correct you are the ones who love you. This made me realize the importance of being corrected by my mom.
Honestly, I really miss being corrected by my mom. Unfortunately, it can not actually happen the way it used to because I am all grown up and need to do those things for myself. People now have expectations for me which always makes me scared. People now want to see me as the all perfect being and stuffs like that. Well, I guess I have keep living and be the best version of myself yaknow.
This is the best memory I have of my mom and this memory encompasses every other memory.

Hahaha.
The chase was a long one. Like some cops chasing bank robbers. Haha. Slippers and brooms were flying like bullets. And there I was, dodging all that like Leo from the Matrix. Hahaha.
Thinking of it now makes me laugh a lot but then, my mom did a wonderful job and I will never forget her in life.
