Who hasn't tried cooking with spices? The truth is that I think all cooking enthusiasts have explored the wonderful world of flavors offered by spices. Considering that each one has its own unique touch of flavor, I think that if we compare it to a woman, it turns out that each woman also has her own touch of authenticity and purpose in life. For me, each spice is a glamorous display of aromas, flavors, and varieties. On that catwalk, seeing a woman walk alongside a spice is like seeing a hidden message that can only be found by taking the time to highlight that woman's qualities and value her authenticity, because just like a spice, every woman is unique, with a personality and a special way of adding meaning to the lives of those around her.

After thinking about it for a moment, I identified with a spice that my grandmother uses in almost all her meals: oregano. This spice describes me very well. The name Oregano has a very special meaning. "Joy of the Mountain," just like my name, which has a special meaning for my parents' faith and God's work in their lives. Oregano is joy, my name is my parents' joy, I am their first daughter, based on these details. The oregano plant has a very special characteristic: it grows in all climates. That is special, it refers to my ability to adapt to all of life's challenges. Because behind every spice there is a beginning, a plant that adapts, grows, and multiplies, such is the life of a woman. Although I am just a young woman, I feel like a small oregano plant adapting to life, even without knowing the potential I have within me, how indispensable I am to nourish the lives of others. Although at first glance it may appear to be just another weed in a vast field, it is not just any weed. It has a potential that goes beyond simply seasoning food; it has the power to influence people's health. I am also in the field of life. To many people, I am just another young woman, but I am not just any girl. Inside me, there are talents and qualities. My company brings joy and comfort to those who know me, and that is part of the well-being I share with those I care about. The splendor of oregano is admired; it possesses a beauty unique among herbs. That beauty is also part of my being, because every woman has a beauty that goes beyond what is observed. Anyone can be mistaken when looking at an herb; it may seem fragile, but it has a strength that runs through its entire structure. This spice is used by cooking enthusiasts when its leaves are dry and can add a touch of flavor to meals, although you should not use too much. The characteristic feature of this species is its surprisingly strong flavor. Many people are confused when they see me calm and quiet most of the time, but when I finally show them a part of my character, they associate me with strength and determination, which surprises many people who underestimate me. On the other hand, oregano has a hint of bitterness, and in that sense, when I associate it with myself, I feel that the bitterness in my life is the mental complaints I keep to myself, the loneliness I don't share with the world. The good thing is that it doesn't cloud my strength and ability to recover. I can be strong, decisive, and constant like oregano, a mixture of bitterness and strength. When you taste oregano, you can perceive its spiciness. In my life, that is cunning, passion, and its minty side, which refreshes and soothes. In me, that is my empathy towards people. I am willing to help, comfort, and lighten the burdens of those who need me. Oregano in my life is more than just a seasoning in my grandmother's recipes; it describes me very well. I can be strong, bitter, spicy, and sharp-minded, just like its flavor.
