Greetings Hive ladies.

Life is a constant learning without a doubt, we learn from our parents, from our teachers and with the studies that we are acquiring. So this opportunity to bring you a technique that I learned at university is a very interesting contribution to me.

This is the topic or question brought to us this week by the ladies of Hive under the supervision of @brittandjosie:

I want you to tell me about a life changing "hack" (a trick or shortcut that makes your life easier), the one that changed your life totally. Be inspiring to me and other readers. It can be any hack or change you made. It must be a thing YOU DID, YOURSELF! Tell me how it worked and what was needed. Did it cost you time, money, etc.? And how long did it last?

In the 80s, while I was in the city of Caracas studying for a university degree, I was touched by several studies on the mind and the changes to obtain a different behavior. Behavior modification was one of the subjects. The teacher provided us with techniques to modify or program the mind.

One of the exercises that I used for my practice was to program my subconscious to get up at a certain time in the morning. I didn't have an alarm clock and I lived in a residence, I didn't have anyone to wake me up early in the morning.

The exercise was very simple before going to sleep repeating a sentence to my subconscious about the time I wanted to wake up in the morning. On the fourth day I achieved it, I woke up at the exact time requested.

I was expanding the programming of the subconscious to other activities, work lists, objects to buy.

All these exercises allowed me to understand that we can program new behaviors and change inappropriate habits. I imagine that we can use this information in other activities of our daily life.

Programming our mind can help us in many aspects, if you think positively about all your activities you will feel them at every step of the day as something accomplished.
That is why psychologists comment that our attitude towards problems will make us feel different and it will be up to us to find the solution.

These are some ideas or tips to program the subconscious:

Visualize success. Go where you want to go, that goal you want to achieve.
Take a few minutes to meditate. A way to calm the mind, breathe and tune your subconscious mind with tranquility.
Write your goals, have scheduled what you want to achieve and in writing.
Positive reinforcement is vital for each step achieved. Celebrate and you can congratulate yourself for each achievement achieved.

La vida es un constante aprendizaje sin duda alguna, aprendemos de nuestros padres, de nuestros maestros y con los estudios que vamos adquiriendo. Así que esta oportunidad de traerles una técnica que aprendí en la universidad me resulta un aporte muy interesante.

Quiero que me cuentes sobre un "truco" que cambia la vida (un truco o atajo que te hace la vida más fácil), el que te cambió la vida por completo. Ser inspirador para mí y otros lectores. Puede ser cualquier modificación o cambio que haya realizado. ¡Debe ser algo que USTED HIZO, USTED MISMO! Dime cómo funcionó y qué se necesitaba. ¿Te costó tiempo, dinero, etc.? ¿Y cuánto duró?

En los años 80 estando en la ciudad de Caracas estudiando la carrera universitaria me tocaron varios estudios sobre la mente y los cambios para obtener una conducta diferente. La modificación de la conducta era una de las materias. La profesora nos facilito técnicas para modificar o programar la mente.

Uno de los ejercicios que utilice para mi practica fue programar mi subconsciente para levantarme a una hora determinada en la mañana. No tenía un despertador y viviendo en una residencia no tenia a nadie que me despertara temprano en las mañanas.

El ejercicio era muy sencillo antes de dormir repetir una frase a mi subconsciente sobre la hora que deseaba despertarme en la mañana. Al cuarto día lo logre, me desperté a la hora exacta solicitada.

Fui ampliando la programación del subconsciente a otras actividades, listas de trabajos, objetos a comprar.

Todos estos ejercicios me permitieron entender que podemos programar las nuevas conductas y cambiar costumbres no adecuadas. Me imagino que podemos utilizar esta información en otras actividades de nuestra vida diaria.

Programar nuestra mente nos puede ayudar en muchos aspectos, si piensas en positivo todas tus actividades las sentirás en cada paso del día como algo logrado.
Es por eso que los psicólogos comentan que nuestra actitud ante los problemas nos harán sentir diferentes y dependerá de nosotros encontrar la solución.

Estas son algunas ideas o tips para programar el subconsciente:

Visualiza el éxito. Ve a donde quieres llegar, esa meta que quieres lograr.
Dedica unos minutos para meditar. Una manera de calmar la mente, respira y pon en sintonía tu mente subconsciente con la tranquilidad.
Escribe tus metas, ten programado lo que quieres lograr y por escrito.
El refuerzo positivo es vital por cada escalón logrado. Celebra y puedes felicitarte por cada logro alcanzado.

Programming our mind and let it sink into our subconscious can change many rigid patterns of our life. I am also a late riser, and though I am aware of this trick I have really not implemented it as yet. For me 7 hrs of sleep is necessary so I have programmed myself as per that, from whatever time I sleep my body has to rest for 7 to 8 hrs minimum. Glad that you have been successful in this.

Thank you very much for the support. If body rest is important. I was young and a student so the sheets stuck to me, I fell asleep from studying late. And that helped me schedule the time. @nainaztengra
