Pack the suitcase
That was the first thing two of my children told me two years ago, still in a pandemic, I received the news of an unexpected vacation.
A vacation to be with the family is a little different from family vacations where one prepares a destination to spend a few days and enjoy.
Originally my trip would last two and a half months, as it was scheduled with the return ticket purchased, but due to lengthy procedures I had to think about postponing it a little longer. So I proposed a date until after my birthday in the month of February.
I was very afraid of traveling alone, between the exams to verify that I did not have covid, I would not have anyone at the three airports that I was going to step on. I just tried to focus my mind that I would be with my children soon and happy.
Due to the lack of a direct flight with Spain, I had to make a stop in the Dominican Republic and again take the covid test because Spain requested it with less than 72 hours.
I was carrying the excitement of seeing the family and all the instructions not to accept packages from strangers, not to be distracted from the suitcase. So don't take too many photos during the move.
The two flights went smoothly without any inconvenience, on the first I had a companion with her adorable pet, she behaved excellently, the second trip was going to take many hours but there were no inconveniences or delays either.
When I arrived at the airport, I couldn't find my children, I went out between when I went out again, there they were. We melted into a hug in the middle of the street, where the taxis pass, when we realized we got out of the way.
Without a doubt, it was going to be my best family vacation. The first days were to acclimatize and recover from the time difference. Soon my children took me to see the city of Madrid on my dream and unexpected vacation.
Soon my daughter's birthday arrived, which according to her I was her birthday present.
Without a doubt, enjoy these vacations to see my children in Spain and thus I was able to enjoy extraordinary walks through different locations. From traveling to the birthplace of Cervantes in Alcalá de Henares, getting to know the lavender fields in Guadalajara, traveling to the Segovia aqueduct, getting to know the gardens and palaces.

Prepara la maleta
Eso fue lo primero que me dijeron dos de mis hijos hace dos años, todavía en pandemia, recibí la noticia de unas vacaciones inesperadas.
Una vacaciones para estar con la familia, es un poco diferente a vacaciones en familia donde uno prepara un destino para pasar unos días y disfrutar.
Originalmente mi viaje seria de dos meses y medio, así estaba pautado con el pasaje de regreso comprado, pero debido a tramites que se alargaron tuve que pensar en posponerlo un poco más. Así que propuse una fecha hasta después de mi cumpleaños en el mes de febrero.
Tenía mucho temor a viajar sola, entre los exámenes para verificar que no tuviera covid, no tendría a nadie en los tres aeropuertos que iba a pisar. Solo trate de enfocar mi mente en que estaría con mis hijos pronto y feliz.
Debido a la falta de vuelo directo con España tuve que hacer una parada en República Dominicana y otra vez el examen de covid porque España lo pedía con menos de 72 horas.
Llevaba encima la emoción de ver la familia y todas las instrucciones de no aceptar paquetes de extraños, no distraerme de la maleta. Así que no tome muchas fotos durante el traslado.
Los dos vuelos fueron tranquilos sin ningún inconveniente, en el primero tenia una acompañante con su mascota adorable, se porto excelente, el segundo viaje iba a ser de muchas horas pero tampoco se presento ningún tipo de inconveniente o retraso.
Cuando llegue al aeropuerto no encontraba a mis hijos salí entre cuando volví a salir allí estaban. Nos fundimos en un abrazo en plena calle, allí por donde pasan los taxis, cuando nos dimos cuenta nos quitamos del medio.
Sin duda alguna iban a ser mis mejores vacaciones en familia. Los primeros días fueron para aclimatarme y recuperarme de la diferencia de horario. Pronto mis hijos me llevaron a conocer la ciudad de Madrid en mis vacaciones soñadas e inesperadas.
Pronto llego el cumpleaños de mi hija, que según ella yo era su regalo de cumpleaños.
Sin duda alguna disfrute estas vacaciones para ver a mis hijos en España y así pude disfrutar de paseos extraordinarios por diferentes localidades. Desde viajar al pueblo natal de Cervantes en Alcalá de Henares, conocer los campos de lavanda el Guadalajara, viajar al acueducto de Segovia, conocer los jardines y palacios.

Que bonita experiencia sra Sacra, puedo imaginarme los controles por el covid de aquel tiempo y el cuidado de las maletas, pero que alegria que pudo ver a sus hijos y todo le salio bien. Muy bonita las fotos.
Muchísimas gracias, la pase muy bien, solamente en unos días de extremo calor me sentí muy mal y me llevaron al hospital por mareos, ganas de devolver. Me angustiaba mucho lo de llevar muchas maletas tener que vigilarla, recogerlas, así que lleve una sola dentro de los estándares para llevarla en cabina, si necesitaba algo lo compraba en España y me regrese con mi maleta, lo que no entro me lo mando mi hija después por barco. @siriromo un abrazo
La entiendo y más con todos esos problemas que se ven hoy en día respecto a las maletas, que bueno que le fue bien a pesar de esos malos ratos de calor.

Those Covid times were crazy for travels, PCR test everywhere. But glad you made that decision to have a longer holiday with them and celebrate your occasions. It is always nice to be together with family on birthdays and other important events. Very beautiful pictures of the holiday. Stay blessed.

Ooooh que vacaciones tan bonitas y que iniciativa tan chévere, justamente tu experiencia me recuerda a el ultimo viaje en familia que hice y justamente fue relativamente cerca de Madrid, visitamos Toledo y nos quedaron recuerdos muy bonitos.
Pero tu experiencia es mucho más, porque lo de viajar en plena pandemia era toda una odisea, lo sé con conocimiento de causa jajajaja, me alegro que las cosas hayan salido bien y que hayas podido venir unos días a disfrutar de tus hijos, espero que haya una próxima y podamos coincidir, un fuerte abrazo!
No quise cargar tantas fotos, Toledo fue hermoso caminamos muchísimo entramos por una puerta dimos la vuelta y salimos por otra puerta. Muy turístico todo allí esta diseñado para que la pases muy bien. Si durante la pandemia todo fue complicado y con mucho temor. Pues claro que si regresaré en unos años a pasear otra vez y nos veremos, tengo mucha gente hermosa y pendiente de tomarnos un café. Gracias por pasar y dejar tu hermoso comentario. @ninaeatshere
No me cabe duda de que fuiste el mejor regalo de cumpleaños para tu hija, sobre todo en una época tan dura, por la que tuvimos que atravesar y que bien podría decirse que nos cambió la vida a todos.
