I love LEGOs. I’ve played with LEGO products from a very young age and collected many sets.

I want to show this one in particular... from the classic iconic TV sitcom "Friends".

For those who do not know, Friends is an American television sitcom that ran for 10 seasons on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, and was developed by David Crane and Marta Kauffman.

I think I still have the collection of DVDs... the complete series! I was crazy about this sitcom. So when it came out in LEGO, I was sure to buy it!

Do you recognize the characters?

Can you visualize the different passages of the series... in the coffee shop... the furniture and the characters?

I took time in the assembly of the set... about a week and a half. I was busy with other things.

Friends received acclaim throughout its run, becoming one of the most popular television shows of all time.The series was nominated for 62 Primetime Emmy Awards, winning the Outstanding Comedy Series award in 2002 for its eighth season.

This is really neat. I never was a Friends watcher, but familiar with it, so I can recognize the characters and some of the sets. What I do know about Legos from my kids playing with them is they are hell on bare feet.

Honestly, this is one that I play with— changing the position of characters when I am thinking or planning stuff. I have dismantled most of the LEGOs I have and put them in boxes, to rebuild another day.

This is adoarble and such fun, tho I never really got into lego, I LOVED miniatures and dollhouses and Sylvanian families and in fact made miniature rooms and such for many years (still do some) however, now my passion for this type of creation I do in Minecraft, My friend and I call it our 'virtual dollhouse and miniature maker' but we dont' have to buy all the expensive pieces and take up space in our homes to build them.

Anyway you slice it, such models and stuff are surely a fun way to spend any day and especially a #sublimesunday! thanks @silversaver888

I’m soooo busy you won’t believe it.
I am planning our next country move again and started packing boxes... all of them again… UK refused my residency 😔 so we have to move on. Movers pick up belongings the 28th of April. Next weekend we have to drive down (12 hours) to the in-laws. We will help them tile the living room and will be away for 2 full weeks. When we return I only have 1,5 week left to pack.
With all of this I have no time to post more than once a week at the moment. And last weekend we had our last visitors here, friends from London. So busy times and feeling exhausted.
I try to comment and support all my friends. Just little time left in a day to do more.
Luckily I found a rental house I can move into in May. Hubby can’t move until mid July… sigh
So another move… you know… I am so tired and done with it. I don’t want to move anymore. But we have to.
Probably 1 more time after this. I soooo need to settle down.

I understand. We are currently running through British sitcom Doc Martin. We saw seasons 1-5 ( I got the English DVDS and had a special DVD player they would play in) but we could never find season 6 and didn’t know until just lately that there were 10 seasons. We are starting the 10th season tonight I believe. I could re-watch the whole thing again! Love ya much! 🥰😘🤗

I figured out which minifig was Joey from the man-purse he was carrying! Ross had his crazy hair, and Chandler is usually with Joey.

Friends is a Hall of Fame series, especially in a time when seasons usually had 20+ episodes each. To this day it can be found airing in syndication on many networks (at least in North America). It's how I was able to watch each episode from start to finish years after it went off the air.

How much did the Lego set cost? It's not easy finding minifigs resembling the original actors.

Considering licensing and other fees factored into the cost of making a special edition set, USD 50 sounds about right. Demand for anything related to Friends is still high even as the kids by Ross, Phoebe, Rachel, and Chandler & Monica are old enough to be in college while Joey has his mid-life crisis. (??? -- all these years later).

Even if we get old and grey, LEGO never gets old.
