Good day , this is probably my first post in the ladies of hive community, well you got to start somewhere .
While i was thinking this morning on what to post , i looked in my digital archive on what I've done in the past with my older camera and lenses .
But also how i developed myself again over the years .
It's almost like the at the end of the year you get on tv these reviews of things that happend in the past year .
Except this time it is your personal life . ( might be a new thing for the Ladies of hive weekly ) write your report on what was your news in 2025 )
Except i'll start in 2016 ;)
All photos are made back in Oct - Nov 2016 by me with my older camera the Sony A6000 , i still have it and it still works when needed .
A little disclaimer they might have been posted before on steemit / hive , i didn't keep track of that in those days , but just like with movies these are a new Directors cut , in other words developed in a new program called darktable .
Before i always used lightroom from Adobe , but these days i use Darktable it's free and open source.
Let's start with some photos .
1 )Bad weather coming in on the river Maas near the village of Oss in Holland .

5 )A wasp sitting on a piece of moss in the early morning after a cold night , due to the cold it wasn't able to move really that much so i had all the time to make some nice photos .
These are taken with a rokkor 28mm lens reversed on the camera

Back in 2016 i wasn't able to move out side without someone with me due to my anxiety , at that time people said you will grow over it ... I did indeed after three years and it wasn't easy to get over it.
Now i drive my wife to work and drive back home solo again without any problems , I take the car and go for a walk with the camera all on my own again.
Nobody can do that for you they can only show you the path and it starts with putting the trash out side with someone standing in the doorway to make you feel secure .
Then you start to do small walks around the house every night , and from that you move on pushing yourself to the next limit .

When i came to Steemit in June 2017 iwas interested inthe technology behind it , and wanted to do more with it , but was still limited finacial and due to the anxiety .
And now 9 years later i have started my own witness server on Hive
as i have posted earlier this week.

I was suprised by the ammount of Witness votes i received on the firstday and after 3 days i was already in the top 100 of the witness servers.

So now i have set my target to get in the top 50 for a start and see where we go from there because i've learned in the past with small steps you can make big progress .

There is always the question why should i vote for you ....

Runing a witness is also some kind of support to keep the chain up and running .
I still think it's a nice place to share my photography and i will keep doing that, no matter the price of hive on the market , i'm not a trader.

First of all, congratulations on your courage in overcoming that period of anxiety crisis you went through and managed to conquer. Sharing your story will undoubtedly be an inspiration to many who need to hear more stories like yours that will help them overcome their own barriers.
As for the photos, what can I say? Always magnificent! I loved the ones with the bee and the ones that capture those autumnal colors...

if sharing my story helps one person to make a step , then it's already a win . The photos of that wasp inspired me to go even closer with macro , that is why i purchased that 2.5-5x magnification lens . I hope i can get that witness in the top 50 one day time will tell .
