Would you rather go without water or electricity for a week?
When we think about living in a survival situation, many of us quickly think of the need for food and shelter. But most people don't realize how much we rely on electricity and water in our daily lives. Should you choose water or electricity for a week? Both are important, on the contrary, electricity is not necessary for life and we could go a week without it. Unlike water, we can live without electricity by using alternative methods such as cooking over a stove or getting light from the sun. Water is an essential need for life and without it, we cannot survive.
Human beings cannot survive without water. It is the most important element of life, and essential to sustain survival. Every living thing, humans, animals, plants need water to live. Sometimes people don't realize how much they need water until it's too late; they are stuck in a desert without any access to clean drinking water.
Water is an essential component of our lives. It is, in fact, the most important ingredient to sustaining life. In the simplest terms, water makes up more tah 70% of the Earth's surface. The human body is comprised of 80% water which means hydration is essential if one wants to be healthy. It is also a major component in the food chain, with animals using it to sustain themselves and plants using it to nourish themselves. No animal can survive without drinking water, and humans need three liters a day for health reasons.
During the writing of this topic, I considered one more aspect. The amount of water available on Earth is shrinking rapidly, with barely enough to meet everyone's needs. All the water is needed to keep the environment healthy and clean, but may not always be used in the best way possible. We use water for everything from cooking and drinking to bathing and laundry, and yet it's an invisible resource that we can't see or feel. That's why it's easy to overlook just how much water goes into making the products we use every day. Many Vietnamese lack access to clean water and sanitation because they live in remote parts of the country. Yet, people are wasting an alarming amount of water every day. I hope each person should be mindful of how much water they use and even take simple steps to cut down usage. Water is the most essential resource to live on Earth. Its importance cannot be overstated, and it must be taken care of so that all people have access to clean water.
Of course, it is no secret that animals and plants need water to survive too. However, what many of us may not know is that if they do not have access to water, their bodies will begin to shut down and die. So one of the most important parts of taking care of an animal or plant is providing them with daily drinkable water.
For years, humans have used water for drinking, cooking, bathing, irrigation, and much more. Water is vital to life and it is our responsibility as humans to make sure not to waste it as every living thing needs water to sustain life.
We owe it to ourselves to think about the topic since it is very important concern. Though I still have a lot to say, I think you'll get the gist of what I'm saying. Thank you @kaerpediem the great questions.

I couldnt agree more. The amount of water we are using are way too much. We need to do our bit to improve the situation. I applied the things I learn from my parents like reuse the water after cleansing rice or vegie to water my plants or cleaning the dishes, take less time to shower... I know it is small steps but if we all do it, we can make difference.

The important things we get when we lose them or are severely lacking. The people of Africa and the islands are probably most aware of it

Hi @trangbaby, I previously gave my answer to your friend dora. But in this comment I want add something from my side. For week I can't live without both. But if I'm staying naturalize place like as mountain, near the waterfall, riding boat safari etc I can live without electricity. But without water my life is impossible.
Haha I understand what you mean. Yes, both water and electricity are extremely important to us. Our world would not function if we did not have the internet and we wouldn't be able to survive without water

I too would chose to go without electricity for a week rather than be without water. The choice was an easy one...
Let's look at each of the photographs in your post and try to imagine the same scene without the water. They wouldn't be such lovely sights anymore.
