RAPE- MEANING, CAUSES AND EFFECT

I noticed this is what most people don't want to talk about,in Nigeria the female citizen go through sexual harassment.

I mentioned Nigeria because it is my country and i have seen so many ladies been sexually assaulted.Rape in my own defenition is the type of sexual harassment that involves sexual intercourse carried on a person (male/female) without the person consent.

In my definition i made mention of male or female because most people believed that the only person that goes through rape is the female only which is a lie the other gender goes through that also but i'm not discussing on that now.

Guys, alot of girls have been sent to their early grave because of the experience they had through rape.

      **CAUSES OF RAPE**

1.Indecent Dressing:This is mostly common amdist the female,some of them dress half naked.Dressing in a wrong manner Will bring nothing it danger to you as a female.

2.Love for money:Most girls fall victim through the love for money,this also is one of the causes of rape.

3.Ignorance:This is one of the causes of rape too,most girls are ignorant about the kind of guys around them, what they are capable of doing if they see any female in a place where no one could see them.

4.Lack Of Sex Education: Rapist have all sort of excuses and justifcations for their acts,lack of sex education causes raperowing up so they really find it so difficult to understand that assaulting a lady sexually is offensive.

       **EFFECTS OF RAPE**

1.Shame:Anyone that has experienced rape feel shameful about what has happened.As a rape victim you will always feel embarrassed about the incident.

2.Guilt:Most rape victim feel guilty about the incident,they feel they could have done something to stop it from happening to them.

3.Depresstion:Once you start thinking about the incident you can go into depresstion.

4.Emotional Effects: A rape victim can be disturbed emotionally after the whole incident.

That's all i have on rape guys,i remebered last year june i had to pass the same message i'm giving out here to people living in ikorodu that RAPE IS AN ANIMALISTIC BEHAVIOUR.

    I'm bewildered as to why out of the four causes of rape,three stems from the female side - they dress indecently, the get raped because they love money, they're ignorant of the people around them.
