It should be prohibited by the contest hosts IMO, I know you can't completely restrict it as they may do this through dm's/other platforms, but openly asking for votes rather than letting voters judge the entries based on merit should disqualify them IMO. cc @lordbutterfly

Thanks for the clarification. It seems like the information didn't reach on his end as he deleted the message I posted (From my most recent post) but then did the same thing on my pinned post, ugh!
I sent @lordbutterfly a message about it, should definitely not be tolerated. However I checked some of the replies he's received and it's refreshing to see many telling him not to spam or that they won't vote on him just because he asked. A win for the Hive community!
