Perhaps next month you can get that delegation you was after. I'm in no hurry so you can hang onto it for least a month.
I always forget... Sometimes I realize it in time and by accident, due to someone else's post. But most of my payouts are 100% HP anyway, so it doesn't really matter. I rather get the curation rewards right away 😅 but the delegation price is a nice one, I admit.
